paleo "light": potatoes and rice are still on the table. they are very nutrient-dense and provide easy calories (f.ex. while bulking)

Where do your carbs mostly come from? No rice and no potatoes? Those pretty much make up the carbs in my diet at the moment. I see nuts on the list but that doesn't seem like a significant source. It's kinda been answered, but on paleo your carbs can come from the following sources: Fruits Sweet potatoes Green vegetables Other non-starchy vegetables If I were you I wouldn't worry about not getting in enough carbs; your body does fine without them. Today I ate only 34 grams of carbs, and they came from cabbage, lettuce, and avocado. If you're trying to lose weight, save the sweet potatoes and other higher-carb foods for a post-workout meal.

Pretty much hit every body part with the oly lifts so I don't really have a least favorite area. Although I haven't really done any chest work in months, I can still rep 100+ kg so I'm not worried about it. Yep. My legs and ass are fucking huge it's unreal hahaha. jeans that used to fall if I didn't wear a belt, suit me awesomely now, or just about enough tighten :D. And yes, Power cleans are the awesomest shit evurz. (cambium they rule, don't they?). I'm going for 65kg 5x3 on friday hopefully. :D

How would you guys train for 5 km runs ? I think I got time twice a week after weightlifting on mondays/fridays but not on wednesday. Is a 5 km run both days a good idea in relation to bodybuilding and making results in actual strength? Guess I could use the offdays to go running as well, the weather is coming along. Longer running is not worth doing unless you enjoy it especially for bulking purposes. It doesn't help with strength or mass and likely takes the kcals that your body will use for building muscle away for energy for that activitiy

Out of curiosity does eating the majority of your food in 3 or 2 separate meals instead of 5 affect your strength building?

Weights and attaining strength goals have never been too challenging for me since all I have to do is up my calorie intake and I shoot up in both weight and strength, but the biggest struggle for me personally is taking the weight off. I LOVE food and have basically no self control. If something yummy is put in front of me there is about a 90% chance its going in my body. Because of that, goals such as my current one are extremely hard for me and since I do not ever plan on being in a bodybuilding competition getting married may be the only real motivation I have for getting a BF% that low. It just one of those times in life where you want to really push yourself and see what you capable of. So I haven't read through the whole 100+ pages of this thread so if I'm be redundant please forgive me but I was just curious what body part you guys find the most and least enjoyable to work out. For me I LOVE back days and in particular shrugs are my favorite exercise. My least favorite day is chest in all honesty probably because I have the hardest time making gains in this area. Also do the majority of you guys always work out with a partner is it mostly solo? Shrugs Dumbells 135x15 ( I think it was 135, I was in the zone and just grabbed it and went for it) + Show Spoiler + ![]() Looking good, although your photographer needs to step up his game ![]() My favourite part would be legs, since I can just kill them and they still can keep go on and on. Fav. excercises would be squats and deadlifts. Absolutely hate pullups (except neutral grips) and doing anything for my abs. @funkie: 115kg incoming!
