I don't know if that's actually true but I'm sure some important person is afraid of that.

I definitely used this brawl to get my 5 druid wins. I thought of the money thing, and Blizzard probably has the research, but I feel like if I try out that dragon deck I've dreamed of and it's really fun... I'll probably buy so that I can craft it. But maybe not? Worse case may be that people will buy lots of packs for the the deck they think they want but really don't enjoy and they would figure that out before spending money? Seems like your game is in a bad place if you have to get them to bite and then not enjoy it.

I don't know if that's actually true but I'm sure some important person is afraid of that. It's baffling. Surely giving people a peak at it for the week prior will make them want it more or just not affect their want of it? Important people are so weird. If they limit it just to TGT it's not even like you can play the decks you dreamed off as they'll have non-TGT cards so it's more like giving a hungry man a tiny amount of food. It's not enough to satisfy him but dam will it make him crave food all the more. edit: I think it's more that they can't do it. They prob have no way of giving people a brawl only collection to choose cards from. Hearthstone code may just put Riots code to shame.

That's true if Blizzard isn't confident that the cards are fun enough for people to want to continue playing with them after seeing them once. I would argue that if you aren't confident of that, it means the expansion isn't good enough to be released yet.

In this case Numy's probably right that the tech doesn't exist yet. It's also likely that any effort to develop such tech is stymied by the lack of obvious monetary benefit to Blizzard.

Free pack once a week, easy access to quests for classes I don't have decks for. Tavern Brawl is great.

I would agree if we were just talking about playing against friends. But tournaments, though, different story. Edit: Damn, rules not written as abusable as I thought they were. Bastards. Any readers of Order of the Stick in here? Shit just got REAL.

They must be doing something very different. Edit: Ok just saw how they do it. Basically cheating.
