It's not better, it's just as bad. Just remove both. The world doesn't have to be a spectrum of radicals, we can live in the middle ground perfectly fine. The sooner people learn this the better off everyone will be.
All it is is a cesspool of people patting each other on the back by shaming other individuals they never'll never interact with in person. It's a feel good thing for those people, stop trying to claim it's anything but that.

well its not like they were shaming them to their face they were doing it on a message board on the internet. I thought this was america. If a fat person doesn't find fat shamming motivating then I doubt they are browsing fat people hate. I was using it for modivation for my current weight loss.
this is a pretty good list of the fucked up subreddits that are approved over fat people hate which is terrifying.

well i didn't. i guess except when i said i was using it for motivation. of course they are doing it as a place to vent about fat people. and like i said shaming isn't good. People are telling them they are healthy. someone has to point out that they are lying. fph is just a radical group of those people who love hating fat people. no i don't think they are a good force in society but they were one of the funnier circle jerks on reddit.

Just the comments from that thread alone should tell you what kind of people you're supposedly upholding as "motivating" people to change.
I mean, it's not okay to delude yourself into ignoring scientific fact about the correlation between being overweight and numerous life-threatening health issues, but it's also not okay to have a place dedicated to literally debasing the humanity of overweight people to the point of making jokes about when they are going to die.

It's possible to counter excessive pampering without resorting to hate. I personally never found r/fph to be entertaining, but that's just the kind of person I am. All of those other subs listed in that other link are also terrible, despicable, and it's sad that they exist.

PS4 totally worth it for Bloodborne, Last of Us (assuming you didn't play the PS3 version), Ratchet remake, and Uncharted 4 will probably be good.

The issue for me is that there's many games I'd happily pay for and play like bloodborne, ratchet, uncharted 4, splatoon, smash etc etc
But the problem is I struggle to justify buying a whole console for the purposes of one; I just don't think I'd get the full value of one compared to just sticking to my PC. Maybe I'll shop around for a second hand one down the road when I got some spare cash.

I bought an XB1 for Destiny and the MCC and I've been massively, massively disappointed.
I ended up using it more for big-screen Twitch streaming. 500$ media box is real.

I'm so sorry. MCC collection almost reeled me in but thankfully I avoided it considering how borked it was on launch. I enjoyed Destiny when I was playing with my friends. The missions were pretty lame but the gun play felt great.

I don't know how the pricing works in the States but one of the main reasons I'm against the new consoles here is that the games are so much more expensive. They about 50% more expensive than PC games or previous gen. So now I'm buying a console that's rather expensive and to populate it with games I'm paying far more. There's no reason to justify that.

Yeah, full price for console game vs Steam game here is the same MSRP. Although you get a lot more aggressive discounts with Steam.

And eventually KH3, but I guess that'll be multiplat on XBOne as well.
Speaking of games, Steam Sale tomorrow hype! I'm thinking that after this weekend I should have some time to start playing/streaming some of my library that I will likely add to during this sale.
