I didn't actually see the posts since it's banned...lol. Was it just people hating/posting mean things? some of it was pictures of disgusting people they saw in public calling them names some of it was rants about fat people they had to interact with, lots of it was hating on tess munster, lots of links/pictures of proof that being fat is unhealthy, lots of pointing out the hypocrisy lots of fat people use and stuff. so all hate but not just posting mean things. I found it very motivating personally. Now im gonna go buy a bag of those new birthday cake flavoured m&ms Those are so good. It's like candy. Well I mean, it is candy. But moreso.

/r/fatpeoplehate was pretty funny, I just find it hilarious that there are far more socially vile and disgusting subreddits that get completely ignored, meanwhile an edgier version of /r/fatlogic gets banned.

I think any hate group are usually full of people with issues in their own life that make them want to shit all over others to feel better about themselves. If you were a highly successful billionaire who did everything you wanted to do and had more than enough money for every comfort in your life, would you need to ridicule others? I get the entertainment value that people get out of it, but it doesn't do anything for me.

Wealthy people hate poor people.

That subreddit always made me sad. Like the whole philosophy behind it never made sense to me, why are you being rude and a total douche behind someone's back when you could offer help? I suppose its up to the person to actually do something about it ultimately but it just never made sense.

I will not shed a single tear about fat people hate getting shut hut down, but there are still worse subreddits that exist. Let's get rid of the super racist ones and ones about beating women. Or hell, the one about pretty dead girl pictures because that one is really messed up.

On second thought, let's not go to the Internet. 'Tis a silly place.

Idk how they accomplish that goal by sitting in a subreddit bitching about it but there you go. The only motivation moidafackas need is zyzz anyways
It does remind me of that time /fit/ got their hands on the /r/fatpeoplehate verification photos, that was a good thread

A push back is really needed against the people claiming that its impossible to lose weight/fat is healthy. I personally think HAES is as bad as saying smoking or anorexia should be accepted as healthy. not saying fat people hate is a good place or a good way to do it but its nice to know not everyone is eating it up. Its dangerous and its heading towards wall-e level fucked up.

Zyzz is life.

I agree that HAES is a very silly movement, but I also think that fat shaming doesn't accomplish a whole lot on an individual level.

Also there were definitely people on that subreddit that didn't give a shit about the person's health and were just posting because "lol fat people."

At the end of the day the only way to sustain a healthy lifestyle is if you want to. No amount of shaming or people telling you what to do will make that happen. So the whole concept of a place to "motivate by shaming" people is flawed.

cept the 100s of stories of people coming into fph and saying thanks for shaming me it modivated me to get healthy.
shaming is not the best or even good. but its a hell of a lot better than telling them its okay and protecting their feefees by pretending they are healthy.

Its not like somebody can lie on the internet. Different people probably need different motivations. It might motivate some but will also destroy any motivation from other people. So as long as you don't know the person before you start shaming one should shut the fuck up.
