Nice! that seems like a more reasonable size for 1 person imo
I mean...it's a 3BR duplex with a basement...but whatever! Worst case, I hate it, it's too big, and I move in a year. I'm looking forward to having a decent place to entertain people in though.
what do you mean when you say duplex? I think of a building with one "unit" on the second floor and one "unit" on the main floor.
The house is bisected top to bottom rather than between the floors. So both sides have 2 floors, a basements, and a shared deck/back yard.

Personally I think the most cancer deck is Exodia Mage. Like, it's cool and I totally understand that, but having my whole board frozen for 5 straight turns and then getting instagibbed even when I'm stacking armor feels pretty crappy.
I'm not that concerned about Exodia Mage. The most cancerous version of the deck (Antonidas + Apprentices) won't survive long because it's too vulnerable to Dirty Rat, and the other version of the deck can be stalled/stopped with taunts. Obviously if you're only half-serious (like I typically am) the deck will ruin you, but the deck is inconsistent and once the meta settles it's only going to do well when it's unpopular.
Dirty Rat in general is a good card to have right now. Unlike most tech cards it's not awful outside of its tech purpose, and it's very strong against pretty much everything but Pirate Warrior (depending on what you draw). Pulling a Quest Rogue's Brewmaster, Ferryman, or whatever they intended to bounce is a big deal, as is pulling practically any minion out of Ramp Druid, and obviously pulling critical combo pieces out of a Mage's hand.

So... Um... A townhouse?
Typically its a stand-alone house that's mirrored for both sides. Same rooms, baths, kitchen etc. on each. Sometimes separate driveways. Most be more common here in murica.

I grew up in one of those. We called them twins. No drive way, which sucked because it was a 1 way street on a hill and there was never enough parking. At least I can parallel park like a beast now, since otherwise I'd have lost side mirrors.

I know what a townhouse is, I live in one. But what he was describing was not a duplex, that's all
My wife orders random shit on the Internet constanty, it arrives in like 2 days. I order a part once for the computer I still haven't built, estimates time of arrival 2 weeks.
And the goddamn pick up Centre where they won't let me pick it up myself is 10 min from my house.
That's pretty weird. They're so lax here I've picked up tons of stuff from my brother even though the collection slip states it must be said person and have to have his ID. Maybe you just need to do the Murica' exploding shopper calling manager.

Except that's exactly what I pictured when he said duplex... I even implicitly conceded it might be an American concept of a duplex
Oh man I don't know how long it'll stick but the fact that Handlock is back in the meta makes me giggly on the inside. Always been my favorite deck archetype.

Wikipedia:
In North America, a duplex house is a dwelling having apartments with separate entrances for two households. This includes two-story houses having a complete apartment on each floor and also side-by-side apartments on a single lot that share a common wall.[1] By contrast, a building comprising two attached units on two distinct properties is typically considered semi-detached or twin homes but sometimes also duplex.
