My instictive reaction based on the shit I get whenever I mention the RSI in my right forearm/wrist would probably be seen as less than supportive :p I'm curious, do you mainly transcribe very clouded/muffled audio samples with background noise? I'd have thought speech recognition algorithms are advanced enough these days that you could basically just let that run over the audio file then just correct its mistakes, rather than having to type everything out live. Now feel like a top secret agent since I'm going to have full NDA about what I'm actually doing. Really nothing fancy but if someone ask about my work I get to say "if I told you, I'd have to kill you" and only be half joking.

You could be completely free to discuss your job but totally unable to convey what you do. Although, granted, with all the org changes right now, I can't really explain my job to myself... T_T

T_T Oh God... the look of panic at technical jargon followed by eyes glazing over and all conversation being severely dampened haunts my dreams. It always comes up too... Forget about the agenda of why, saying he's the lone suspect after he's been releases uncharged when they charged another lone suspect is absolutely libel. Leaving these articles and tweets up after the fact allowing them to be spread. Buddy is probably being harassed! Every single job he applies for will have his name be googled; showing up as a terrorist in a fox news article certainly gets his application thrown in the trash. Something like that article and tweet can essentially ruin your life. Trudeau did a great thing.

My main complaint is that a lot of the mechanics are obscure/not explained so I've gradually come to rely a lot on third party tools and guides. It's more of a game that I pop into every so often than one that keeps my attention for more than a week, but maybe that's just the fault of my pavlovian hearthstone-addled brain. Like all games it also improves a lot with friends, and some ways of making credits actually benefit from cooperation (mining, combat, pirating for the very experienced).

It does what it does very, very, very well and for people who want Euro Truck Simulator in space, you can't really do better. The game is insanely deep without being Spreadsheet Simulator like Eve Yeah, it's pretty fantastic for what it is. I haven't played since you could land on and drive around planets, but I've heard really good things. I could definitely see it being awesome if you had a whole group of friends working for a faction. I'm just hoping Star Citizen actually gets released one day (I haven't checked out any of the released modules) and lives even halfway up to my hype. edit - omg yeah, when I eventually™ get a VR set up, Elite is gonna be so fun

Thought this was HF for a second because flairs, that would have been a rollercoaster of a day :o GL The audio quality is utterly shit and the main contract we do has to be entirely verbatim with all the shitty ums and uhs and repetition and interruptions. Don't think a program could do it when we struggle to hear a lot of what is being said. Especially when half of it is thick Geordie accents. And yeh my rsi is tendonitis of the entirety of both my arms and because I tried to power through the pain because being off sick means less pay I made it ten times worse and now I can barely live. I get pain just lying down ans operating my phone is even hard. And my gf doesn't have a job soooooooooo tough times ahead for me. Really tough :/ Applying for as many jobs as I can right now that aren't typing intensive.
