Yeah what the fuck, I just got back on TL and saw I had a warning. The reason: "more effort please." Are you kidding me, I had to google the image and then fucking save it just to reupload it using TL's upload image feature because it was too fucking big for the thread which was a LOT of work and then just thinking of using it was work in itself. Where is Neo, I'm expecting some staff rearrangements.
Bots automatically warn users who only post a picture image in their post and that's it I believe. I remember the last time I did it I got an automatic warning.
Speaking of music, the new Red album (well, newest but I just got) is interesting. The first half really doesn't even sound like them, but then you get stuff like this:
You can do so much just by cutting out processed sugars/high-fructose corn syrup and watching your carb intake (and swapping over to more protein for your calories), and maintaining it. Don't go hog wild with random low-carb/no carb diets like Atkins, but lowering your carb intake (of simpler carbs in particular) helps.

This is a masterpiece. Thank you for showing me the light.

favorite single player experience? I don't know if I can pick one. but KotOR, Braid, and the half life series.
multiplayer experience? I have always enjoyed multiplayer more. Mario kart 64, aoe2, scbw, call of duty (the original. rifles only no crosshairs - obviously a tryhard), halo 2/3, css, sc2, super smash 64, halo reach, and now league! chronological order too.
what was your first? mine was rayman. god that game was sooooo good. I still haven't finished it haha. but it was the first game I remember thinking Dayum I need to get my hands on more games. every song in rayman is an absolute firejam too.

SO HARD
How are kids supposed to beat that???
For those of you that have never experienced this masterpiece, Band Land is the fourth? fifth? level. Yeah. Also, the music:
EDIT: Bongo Hills is the name of the level. Band Land is the area.

Little late to the party but the TL Running Thread offers some solid advice if you want to run regularly. Running is a lot of fun at a certain point of fitness (races and breaking PRs in particular) but sucks if you suck at running.

Well, for me, I cut out a ton of processed foods, drink only water or unsweetened coffee/tea, and switched from processed carbs to whole grains and fruits. I try to eat a vegetable with each course and I don't snack.
Without at least moderately intense exercise, I will get fat. I'm currently 195 - 200 lbs (~90kg for you non-Americans). Apparently, I don't look like I'm that heavy, but still, without exercise I just balloon up. My job is mostly sedentary and I take 10 minute walks twice a day.
It's an absolute necessity for me to train cardio and weightlift if I want any shot at losing weight.
Eh, flash doesn't work on my work comp. Welp, 'll check that out this evening (he says, as a bunch of TL regulars are still in the evening/just went to sleep).

I'm here!
I'm hiding from government officials. sounds badass, but it isn't. the education office inspectors came today. they want to check people's lesson plans for the year.
welllllll I'm not exactly a lesson plan sort of guy. if I do an activity, I don't need a full page of paper. a few notes, maybe a problem scrawled out.
either way the probability that they decide to pick the white guy is high so I bounced. besides. the Lesotho government doesn't pay me, I don't want to be held to their standards. they should check the basotho teachers!
