That's really the sort of thing someone says right before they get shot. What are you going to do, grab the gun out of their hands? Any firearm or martial arts instructor will tell you that the Nike defense is better than fighting anyone with any sort of weapon. You're more likely to accidentally get shot trying to wrestle a gun out of someone's hand than you are to get it away and look like a hero.

Can confirm, I take martial arts from one of the best in the business who is also closely involved with law enforcement in the area.

You don't fuck around with a gun unless its part of your job or you just don't care about your life.

No, diet is less important than activity, at the most it shares equal importance.

Diet being more important is just some internet bullshit floating around often said by internet posters who haven't actually lost weight.

I ran for 30 minutes and then practiced racquetball for another 30. It was a solid workout.

Clearly though, not eating will lose weight. Its just not healthy and you eventually die. Although on the bright side you continue to lose weight after death.

As someone who's lost 70lbs. Constant daily calorie deficit consumption is the #1 way to lose weight. Keeping active keeps your metabolism going, is a nice bonus. Weight lifting to increase your muscles for naturally high basal metabolic rate helps to, but the best way to lose unhealthy weight is to eat less calories than your body consumes (obviously through healthy means)

You're talking about just losing weight. Dieting (i.e., losing weight and getting fit) requires both. Healthy eating won't tone your muscles or reduce your love handles, you'll just... wither.

They also legally don't want to tell anyone to do something aggressive that can get them killed. Attacking your attacker is one of them. Even using guns at all is looked down upon by local law enforcement and the media as a whole, even in self defense situations.
Like cops also tell you not to use marijuana because of how bad it is for you, and how many people on this forum do you think uses it "because it's good and isn't bad for you?" lol
I know it's a moot point but that's totally not a qualifying statement because a lot of stuff said by law enforcement is complete bullshit.

I've known people who actually were in such situations where a gun was pointed at them when they were only about an arms length away. If they tried to run they would totally have been shot (both cases were in alleyways, which is a really common situation in a big city), but by moving forward it takes the attacker by surprise as they expect you to run, and in that time window they were able to get the gun pointing away from them and tackled down the guy holding it.

You gotta get the pump so you can feel confident for the rest of your bicep stack, and then get another set of standing curls so you can go home feeling accomplished.

Also best practiced in the power rack. They call it the power rack so you can get extra power for curls.

Changing you diet is far more important. Diet in the current lexicon is a misnomer. People change the way they eat temporarily, lose weight, and then think they can go back to being undisciplined slobs and have everything be fine. Diet is not a short term fix. Diet should mean the way you eat at all times.

Yeah what the fuck, I just got back on TL and saw I had a warning. The reason: "more effort please."
Are you kidding me, I had to google the image and then fucking save it just to reupload it using TL's upload image feature because it was too fucking big for the thread which was a LOT of work and then just thinking of using it was work in itself. Where is Neo, I'm expecting some staff rearrangements.
