I moved out 2 weeks after college.
My parents would certainly have let me stay if I had to. But I got a job, and I'm happy to move on with my life. I do get homesick every once in a while. It's weird being on my own, and I definitely miss hanging out with my 8 year old bro.
But it's funny, it feels like I've gotten closer to my parents since moving away. They're only an hour away, so I can really see them whenever I want.
All in all, I'm really enjoying living on my own and being able to do my own thing. Viktor has definitely helped with the periodic loneliness - he's such an awesome cat.

Miss my bros and family too (4 hours away isn't too bad) but yeah, once you go to college or move out, going back just doesn't work normally There's some kind of friction despite how much love there is

I moved out of my parents house about a month after I turned 18 despite them saying this was stupid and a waste of money, lived on my own in the same town for about 7 years, then realized it was stupid and a waste of money and moved back in with my parents for like 3 years till I actually moved out of the area they lived in. In those 7 years I probably wasted 30,000$ needlessly on rent.
Living with your parents is great. Do it as long as you comfortably can.

So I have been trying to cook fried rice lately. I actually have REAL SOY SAUCE WOOOOOOOOO. But I suck. so help me! I have:

rice
margarine
and some spices.
I have a few pots, two skillets, and a three burner propane stove. help me make the best fried rice ever.
also, MMLP2 is hands down the album of the year for me - definitely on my top 10 of all time, maybe even top 5.
