Been following Figure Skating very actively lately...
However, the current level of Finnish figure skating is sort of depressing. Apart from Kiira Korpi(who is currently injured), I would say that every Finnish figure skater is worse than Elena Radionova was when she was just 9 years old -.- + Show Spoiler +
It's just ridiculous.
Also well, it's actually cheaper for me in Finland to live in a rental house than living at my parents' place. Get so much welfare bonus and stuff for living alone and whatnot.
As for fried rice, it usually works out well if I just dump everything on the frying pan and fry it.

I also have potatoes. but I feel like that doesn't fit in to fried rice? I'll make those separate. anyway. any instructions would be much appreciated. I have to go fetch water and I expect many responses from all you Asians.

Ok, If you had to type a resume and wanted to list your QA experience if you had any, but all of it is for video games. How do you list that without saying video games?
I put Software Client Tester with High User Rate, but that feels flimsy.

Is there a particular reason NOT to say video games? Do you feel like it won't be taken seriously? I was of the impression that gaming QA is a pretty rough field considering all the monotony and writing that (allegedly) goes into it.
Maybe just "Software Client Tester" with a "Responsibility" line of " - Tested clients under high load stress." or something to that effect if you're dead set against mentioning video games.
Personally, I would just be clear about it, but I also have my profane nerd culture blog and my TL writing on my resume so I'm biased.

I thought you already got a job, what's the resume for? Finding new job before you even start?

Friend is curious and the question intrigued me. He's more of a closet gamer and wants it to stay that way.

include the names the games dont hide it it looks bad when they go more in depth on what the software you're testing is in an interview, never make it seem like you're trying to hide something; spin it by dropping numbers and quantifying everything you did so its not jsut "i played video games" - # of users? # of bugs found? volume? anything that you can slap a (big) number on.

Agree with Cheep. There's a slim chance the vagueness is fine and they're happy with that but the potential negative of looking like you're hiding something outweighs that. Better to focus and present what they really want to know like cheep's examples.

Shelke: worth a shot, though I'm pretty close to done with trying atm. Too much effort for too little reward. Add me and we'll see later.

You can put an interests section on your resume at the bottom, I have eSports, literature, health care policy and stuff listed there for example- if an interview is going well, the interviewer might see eSports and be like "oh okay, what game?" I say League and then we basically spend 10 minutes talking about S3 finals or something.
QA for video games would be a job, so you'd put a position name like "Software Quality Engineer" at so-and-so company, then write like 3 or 4 nice bulletpoints, like drop the name of a popular game and the sales and profits from it, highlight your duties, who you reported to, etc. Include hours/wk, location and time worked.
If anyone needs resume help, feel free to PM me. I've gone through the crucible for all that because of junior internship recruitment. Once I went to a company presentation and gave them a copy of my resume, I got to skip first rounds because the lady looked at my resume and said "yeah you got your shit together, send me an email and I'll get you skipped through". /brag

It's mostly about showing that you're a diverse individual, not just some drone who's only ever done what he's told.
But yeah, I can be "Well, I'm kind of a big deal of the internet. Look at my elo peen"

I have a few pots, two skillets, and a three burner propane stove. help me make the best fried rice ever. -rice should be cooked already -saute your onions in the pot -when they turn brown add diced tomatoes -whisk the eggs and add them -when they begin to set, add the rice and mix together -add soy sauce, salt, and black pepper to taste
i only added the tomatoes because you said you have them, otherwise i would just put peas and carrots and green onion in there. maybe some bacon or ham or shrimp.
