While I agree the administration had ulterior motives in regards to gearing up for war, but Stewart is misplacing a lot of the blame on the media. While the media played a role in "selling" the war, it an unwitting accomplice and a lot less nefarious than Stewart seems to portray them to be.

Also, Crusnik, if I remember right I was making $13 an hour doing landscaping for a small company (like 2-3 of us under the boss) that was after a few summers with them but I think I started out at what you're saying you make now and I didn't do any of that really grueling landscape work. Northeast Ohio so not too different in location.
I usually did three 9 hour days, sometimes with a fourth short one. It wasn't a bad gig really, sometimes I miss it.

I work 50+ hour work weeks without getting paid currently. Plus 1.5 commute time each way. My car decided not to start yesterday morning so I had to take my wife's at 6:30 in the morning and hope she could work everything out, get my kid to daycare and get to work. She took it in and they couldn't find anything wrong with the battery at the very least. I took it today. Almost got stranded in a different city when it decided not to start again at 8:30 PM. I'm only seeing my son every 1.5 days. This month is already starting to wear on me and its been 4 days.

Jesus. This is why I've always wanted to travel once outside of NA, but then I look up plane ticket prices, and am like "Nah, lemme save this".

Oh god, that Daily Show interview gave me cancer.
He's doing that Bill O'Reilly/Maher pundit thing. Where they have an opinion and tries vocally to push it in an "hardball" interview to support his own worldview, and because he has a fervently loyal audience/viewer base that supports it, isn't gonna get called out on it (that and it can be dismissed as comedy).
Eyeuh. This is why the only actually good US news channel is Al Jazeera America, despite the tinges of anti-Israel bias in some of their investigative pieces (which are still generally sound).I'm totally not just saying this because I've seen one of my old profs on Inside Story.
