Fuck expensive weddings, but a wedding isn't a wedding without an open bar.

Also, fuck 12 hour work shifts.

You're referring to Nurse Scheduling. I THINK my brother has 4 days/week with this and they're scheduled irregularly month to month.

Yikes.

2 days 2 nights 5 off is standard full time around here

I g uess it depends on what you mean by open bar at nice venue. If your "open bar" is only like beer and wine then you can probably get it for much less than $50 a person, but if you actually want to give people real drinks it can easily run to 80-100.

what csheep is saying, if you've got alcoholics in your family, it's gunna be pricy.

We're slightly more But with more people. We sprung to get married at a really great venue, we could have saved a lot just doing a random banquet hall or something, but we both really like the place we picked.

The cheaper option is to buy cases of liquor and wine yourself in bulk and serve it up. Your guests get less variety but so much more quality at lower cost to you.

Jesus christ, even another reason for me to find the holyland that is Costco. The fabled pizza, and in-bulk liquor???

Speaking of whiskey, after watching Parks and Rec I really want to try some Lagavulin. Good marketing having them on there.

Hidden Laboratory is open. I have 10g.
The last wing was super fun, the content is kinda short but the concepts are cool.

depends on the state: don't think the Costcos in Maryland can sell liquor, but you can find it in most states.

Also, the gas there is generally 10-20c cheaper than elsewhere. And 1.50 hot dog+refillable drink. And is significantly better at labor relations/paying living wages/offering health insurance than other corporations like Walmart.

Last year and the year before my department worked 7-5 Monday through Friday then 7-12 on Saturday. Luckally that went the way of dodo, unless people really fuck up, now its just 7-5, nominally Monday to Friday. Equates to 12 hour day since I live 30 minutes away and don't normally get back to the office until 530 or later.

At least we get some prevailing wage work, and that's just 40, never OT on those jobs since paying OT is hella expensive.

I want to say there is a Costco in Wilkes barre, but I've never been to it...

Costco is great if you're a huge wine-hipster as well, if you're into that thing.

60 persons? I'd have trouble finding 30 on my end. Something like 17 with all my brothers, cousins, uncles/aunts, grand-parents, and their respective SO. There, 19 if we add my uncle and cousin who live in the south of France. Don't think any of my acquaintances would want to get invited if I get married.
Cant take LMS hipsters serious.

Yes Philly.

I've never gone out of my way to look for it, as I usually just end up going to the Sam's Club that's like 10 minutes from my place when I need something in bulk.

One day, I will have Costco Pizza.
