Monthly income exceeds this amount. This is exactly how i do my budgeting, unfortunately my monthly spending is significantly higher than just my monthly bills and is not so fastly eclipsed by my income. Learning that a half quarter, 3 packs of smokes, and 3 bottles of rum a week is ~ 35 + 30 + 70 = $135 was sad tho considering i probably spend ~50 on eating out a week too.

Kind of like how 80 in French is literally "Four twenties."

I have a random copy of Quicken but I have also heard good (and free) things about mint.com. I did a bunch of research between these two for my grandfather back around Christmas. Basically here are the differences: Mint has a better interface and is easier to use on a phone. Quicken has more functionality if you have like dozens of different accounts and move money between them all the time. My grandfather uses Quicken because he has money in like 8 different banks, but I would use Mint, personally.

It gets better, 90 is "four-twenty-ten". So intuitive! Belgians say "octante" and "nonante" (-ante is our equivalent of -ty for numbers) respectively, which makes much more sense but always surprises the French.

From a business perspective it's a good way for Apple to make a lot of money trading on its reputation. From a long-term standpoint they still have yet to reconcile the fact that a luxury watch is meant to be timeless whereas tech products are naturally obsolete after a couple of years. The Watch Edition is a gimmick for the time being - after the initial hype die down, you'd be hard pressed to find someone who'd want to wear an Edition over a Rolex or something. And if you're rich enough to drop 10k on an Editon everytime a new one comes out you probably wouldn't be wearing it all the time either. It's the best smartwatch on the market bar none at the moment, and by all accounts the manufacturing and quality is top notch, but I don't see it being nearly as revolutionary or impactful as the iPhone, nor as ubiquitous. I've been told that internally, Apple is targeting 10% penetration among iPhone users as a very good number. The numbers are a bit skewed by the launch hype at the moment.
