Investment? Amazon Prime is free for students. At least... it was when I was a student... and they don't seem to have taken it from me yet...

I think they said you get Prime free for 6 months with purchase of Kindle HD and it has yet to come off. My year comes up any day actually.

Are you sure they're not charging you? I think the normal policy I think is that if you got it free, they just start charging it to any saved credit card when your free time runs out without telling you.

God I nope not... T_T

Pretty good of keeping track of any expenses going out. I've noticed nothing. It's not like I'd even be upset because I'll probably pay for it but as of yet no charges.

Yeah, it was free for 6 months and then discounted 50% after that. I'd still pay the $80 though.
|
If you pay the full $80 you can share it with up to 4 other people which means its actually $16/yr
If you pay the discount student for $40 you can't share it

Avengers is free on Amazon Prime too, get hyped.
I've been here for just over two years, yay. Well, its actually technically a lot longer. I'm pretty sure I had an account from my super serious BW days, but I never posted with it because I was pretty big in the Travian community/ forum back then. Used to play a lot of Runescape and Maplestory too, though that was more in-game stuff.
I'm back after a two-day school ban, and oh god its been hard.
Anyways, my random plug. I started with FreeRice again-- its basically a vocab game where if you get a question right, a starving African child gets 10 grains of rice. Getting questions right makes the next ones harder, getting them wrong decreases the difficulty. There's all sorts of modes you can play on.
I made a TL team if anyone is interested too. http://freerice.com/content-group/team-liquid

Avengers is also free in many places on the internet that don't require much effort =)
and woah, are there any catches to FreeRice? That sounds awesome
|
I know there's other places, but its still nice you pirate scum.
No catches, just play and get rice.
|
Ive been around since 2005ish
Countless accounts and passwords forgotten later, I'm here!

The only catches to free rice are 1) you get served ads 2) at the higher levels you get dumb things like "bollard = mooring post"

I meant more like negative things that come out of it. Giving free rice to peeps at work instead of doing work sounds good to me.
