Best ice breakers gogo. Hello, how are you. My name is Hazmat. I see you're new here, so I was wondering if there was anything you wanted to know about. Works every time, even when they're not new. To be honest I was just going to say hi but I figured I could get some funny answers from you guys. Thanks for the laughs.

As I said, I was trying to ride the thin line between sarcasm and genuine appreciation with that comment. It went way to the side of that line though I am afraid :D
Honestly, I copied sooo much behavior from people I met at LAN tournaments in the past months. Some phrases, but mostly just swag attitude and 3 buttons-unbuttoned shirt. I turned into a real swagmachine within like 2 weeks lol.

Im going to bust out my 3 buttons unbuttoned shirt with a popped collar tommorow, first day of school. Gonna have a big smile on my face at all times (except for when looking at my german teacher, because fuck you german). Really the most interesting thing about going to school is just trying out shit when interacting with people. Not all things I copied are all that awesome though. The stare to the upper left when thinking I copied from Tom Dwan can look a bit awkward at times but it is too late to try to unlearn it now LOL

Wat. I am just not leaving my behaviour up to chance, most people just do what they learned at home and from friends and I don't think that's ideal. I am in the perfect position to cherrypick all kinds of habits/behaviours/attitudes and I mean to exploit that position. It's probably a lot harder for someone who meets people for 9 hours/day every day of the week, but that is not something I have to deal with fortunately.
Also, there is the other thing, where changing your feelings is super hard. You can't think away nervousness for example. But you can to some extent act it away. Simple experiment: try to smile, just a genuine smile. It makes you instantly feel better. Try changing the way you walk and hold your body, more like something you see badasses and swag-eminating people do. You will feel supremely confident.
You have to have the whole triangle of thoughts-feelings-behaviour under control in order to do what you want to do and what you think is right for you. At least that's what I think, and that's why I enjoy my partial isolation from the day-to-day society. That's also the reason why I never drink alcohol or coffee or anything more altering than that.
