Fishing in LoZ:TP was one of the most relaxing things I have done. Ever.
On a related note, fuck sailing in Wind Waker.

Its an otherwise beautiful game but you could literally set your direction on your boat, go make supper, eat supper, shower, come back and STILL not be at the other side of the map.

This is absolutely correct. My friends caused me to die inside when I was showing them around Tokyo, bought them all a bunch, and was forced to watch them go "ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww"

I doubt Nintendo made much off of Porygon 2 Swag, and I doubt creating Porygon 2 increased sales of Gold/Silver. And G2 wasn't the worst offender because a lot of the additions were the pre-volutions and evolutions of things we already had.
A good formula would have been something like: 3 new starters, 3-5 legendaries, 3-5 evolutions of old guys, 3-5 magmar/electabuzz guys, 1 eevee (we're at 19-25 already), add in like 5-10 totally new strains of pokemon (some with 2, some with 3) and you are at 29-55 new pokemon, and the game is still totally fresh.
That makes the percentage of legendaries WAY too high. Legendaries don't feel legendary when 10% of all new Pokemon are "Legendary".
Ahh. So you have uncovered the real reason for there being like 6 rattatas and 5 pidgeys: so as to make more legendary pokemon.

There needs to be a brag thread for OT or something. I am like 20-2 over the past two days. I may be the best player ever.
Edit: 20-3 now. Fuck RNG yo

Your personality type: ENTP . Strength of individual traits: E - 10%, N - 4%, T - 22%, P - 62%.
+ Show Spoiler + People with the ENTP personality type are often called devil’s advocates, and for a good reason. ENTPs absolutely love to argue and they do not really care that much what the argument is about, as long as it is fun. They may not actually support the idea they are arguing for, but may decide to go against the prevailing opinion, seeing this as a mental exercise. ENTPs are very quick-witted and original, which gives them a great advantage in debates, academia and politics – however, they also tend to do very well in many other areas that require willingness to challenge the existing ideas and juggle multiple arguments. One of the reasons why ENTPs are able to hold their ground in nearly every debate is their impressive knowledge and ability to jump from one idea to another, making unorthodox connections in the process. They do this with amazing speed and without much effort – the onslaught of arguments coming from the ENTP may easily confuse their opponent. This can be both a good and a bad thing, depending on who the ENTP is arguing with – they can easily shred their opponent’s arguments in a debate about politics, but cause immense stress in a romantic relationship if they try to do that to their partner. As always, there is no trait that is universally positive – in this case, ENTPs need to be careful to keep that love of arguments in check as the actual process is often more important than the truth. People with this personality type know this very well, but they also need to understand that what they see as fun can be very hurtful to another person. ENTP personalities tend to use their mind in a very specific way and this is especially noticeable in the professional environment – they enjoy brainstorming and outlining all the options, but do their best to stay away from actual implementation. Again, such a trait can be very valuable in certain situations, but cause tension in the workplace as the ENTP may be perceived as having fingers in many pies, but not willing to work hard to implement their ideas. ENTPs also tend to be non-conformists and love challenging existing rules and routines, which makes them irreplaceable where there is a need to rip up the existing models and come up with new, original plans. It is also worth mentioning that ENTPs usually prefer dealing with complex ideas and difficult challenges rather than day-to-day concerns. They enjoy thinking big and are good at it – it may take a while for an ENTP to reach the position that would allow them to fully utilize such a trait, but once they do, the flow of ideas will become unstoppable. However, the ENTP will still need to rely on other people to put them in place. ENTPs are usually very direct and honest. They do not really care about being seen as sensitive or compassionate, so their honesty may be quite brutal sometimes. ENTPs say what they think and do not mince their words – furthermore, they dislike people who try to beat around the bush, especially if they are about to ask the ENTP for a favour. Consequently, ENTPs tend to be respected, but not necessarily liked – many people not only tolerate being lied to, they actually hope for and need to hear a lie in certain situations. The society tends to put feelings, sensitivities and comfort above the unpleasant truth – this is likely to frustrate many ENTPs. In general, ENTP personalities are very rational and do not see much value in emotions or emotional arguments. Consequently, they are great when it comes to logical thinking, but likely to have difficulties in the emotional area – ENTPs’ confidence and keen sense of humor are usually very attractive, but they can easily (and often inadvertently) hurt an individual belonging to a different personality type. F types are especially vulnerable in such situations as they strongly dislike criticism and arguing, while ENTPs thrive on this.
obviously it's not perfect, but it got a decent amount right.

I'm pretty sure everyone who looks back on Wind Waker with rose tinted glasses forgets about it too. Me? I didn't realize you had to feed the stupid fish and wasted like 3 hours going to every single tile to feed them all, so I could finish the game.I'm not sure it was worth it.
Near as I can tell they never explained this anywhere either. Or I'm just an idiot. But I was already pretty sick of sailing before that. And then they just have to make me never want to play the game again. Sigh.

Did you guys never realize there was a teleport spell or something?

If you stumble upon it. Which I don't think is mandatory, because I didn't have it until I looked at a guide because I got fed up.

Steam Family Sharing is pretty coooool.
Quite a big smack in the face to singleplayer games and indie games though.

Druid is fine, very good class in arena IMO. It's constructed cards are very much about few creatures rather than lots of creatures since the majority of their spells either buff or make your dudes way bigger. Hunter is very good as an aggressive deck. Something tells me you haven't been beast cleave'd yet Neo.

Read like that the Jung/Myers-thing test sounds like an horoscope, bits of everyone in their own type and the opposite one.

Hunter is fine, it only sucks when people don't know how to make rush decks. You can't play board control with them, but you can set up many turn 6-7 kills. Better off staying away from beasts, as it just makes the deck dip heavy into hoping for RNG, better off with neutrals and the best hunter cards (explosive shot, savannah) and just gogogoing for it.

It's all about playing around removal, which people aren't used to doing in hearthstone. Crocolisk is godlike.

I watched the Melee Doc last night and I'm watching it again because I'm still getting the same chills i had last night. The stories that are being told in this thing just send such a powerful message that all I want to do is get better.

Day off from school and caught Pokemon anime for the first time in 5 or 6 years on TV and was wondering why after so many seasons Team Rocket's Boss ( Giovanni?) still hasn't fired Jesse & james since it seems like they never actually managed to catch a single pokemon in all those years.
Random thoughts for the win.
