A lot of the kits can be explained like this is so-and-so's W from league and these two skills are like this other league champ's. I think if you were well versed in DotA this could be done with DotA skill as well. When I first started league I was basically equating all the skills in league as combinations of skills in dota.

Well shoot I have a wedding next weekend. Fail Two weddings gg

Well it's more how the item shop is setup and how the skills work. They all feel very "league like" in that regard. Even the minimap reminds me of league.

Guys this might blow your mind
But I don't actually do anything
EVER.
So I'm free next weekend.

Though the last major patch totally revamped the recommended items. I haven't gone back to check if they're better because I did my own for basically all the heroes I'd play (I basically never play Meepo for example so I haven't done items for him), but I'd expect them to be a lot better and therefore for autobuy to be somewhat better if you really wanted it.

Auto-buy always seems to be out of whack with the norm in most games, idk whats up with devs'. Its really not that hard to throw a cookie-cutter build in there and it certainly isnt hard to find one.

It's kinda the same in Smite. Really the one you'll get flamed most for is Meditation (essentially Clarity). It's fine in some modes, but it's awful in Conquest, and auto-buy always starts you off with it. Most of the other recommended items usually aren't that bad though.

You can actually set up autobuy in the profiles section, iirc.
The section that works the best is the "popular items" tab. For the most part, buying any item out of there is fine.
|
i wish i turned on auto buy when we played dota last time it may not be the best but it lets you jump in and enjoy the mechanics while you browse the store.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is a good movie :F

I've been really shitty about organizing learning stuff for DotA 2.
Mostly because I've had not much time for DotA in general recently.

week 2 day 2 of couch to 5k. Legs weren't that sore after day 1, but sorta stiff. A little bit of stiffness lingering today before run. (I probably should have stretched and cooldown better after the run). Run was harder today, dunno why. The last half was brutal for me. I did proper cooldown and stretch after run today, so hopefully day 3 won't be so bad.

Do sprints. Not jog. Sprints win every time. Toss in skipping between sprinting sets. After doing this for a few weeks then do a jog. Easy as cake

Yet, as usual, you maintain your god-level knowledge.

I discovered I can watch/listen to these games on Youtube.
This draft just got a bit more interesting for me.
