Somebody please explain Twitch to me. How in the hell do people have the disposable income to throw $100 at a time at people streaming who you could watch for free, and who are doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BUT PLAYING GAMES THEY'D BE PLAYING ANYWAY
People doing speedruns, people playing Isaac, DotA, LoL....I get following so if you like a guy for whatever reason you can see when he/she gets online and shit but subscribing/donating...I dunno I guess I'm just cheap or something but I don't get it.

I am subbed to only a few channels, MLG (still apparently since I bought Premium a while back and it apparently was a 1time sub FOREVER, The General, OGN (Monte-ajussi, DoA-ajussi, and Chobra-hyung<3) and GOMeXP (tastetosis). I also subbed for a bit to Geranimo for when I wanted an ADC teaching stream, but that was it. Granted, I'm probably going to donate to SGDQ, and if Muffinqt/mistmaster/bizkit got sub buttons, I'd probably sub to all 3 of them since they're all really funny/good KH 1.5/2FM runners.

I think a lot of the super big donors just have that much money floating around to patronize their favorites. Out of 20,000 viewers or whatever you only need one guy with a heart and money to give $100, and he doesn't need a reason other than that he likes the streamer for making a video game interesting for him. The tickertape/sound-effects/thank-yous also go a long way to encouraging people to donate, it's crazy.
Honestly there are video games that I'd rather watch than play and streamers, whether they've got a special talent or not, are nice for that. It's one reason why I frequent the somethingawful LP archive.
Then again I don't have money and one reason why I do what I do is because it's free and it has fewer commercials than TV.

if the ratios between those two triangles is 2:3 then it's not gonna be right triangle either way

i think its mostly rich kids and poor stupid people that got sucked into some kind of "community feeling".
I think the high income people you think are donating will rarely spend their time on a "low entertainment value/time" activity like watching streams. At least in my personal experience that is the case.

Any faith I had in the government died years ago. That and I'm way to lazy to care since I can't be bothered to change my voter registration from Philly area to Luzerne area so I could actually maybe, not do anything about it. Also, I get paid to work for the government some times as well, being paid $30/hour to install 1-4inch PVC piping is hilariously easy, if dirty and infuriating due to some coworkers.

5.3^2 + 6^2 is not 9^2
3x8/2 = 12 6^2+9^2 = 12^2
you can have an ratio between right triangles wat are you talking about scip you'll just get square roots everywhere
