everything about the question is incredibly retarded though you will never take a college class where people draw right triangles and then go LOL BUT I DIDNT DRAW THE RETARDED L THING IN THE CORNER BAITED BROHAN diagrams are a useful aid for solving problems and drawing bad diagrams on purpose is just all around retarded you defended the question as teaching critical thinking the only thing the problem teaches is how to cross multiply fractions and ignore things that you shouldn't ignore in any other situation where you have to solve with less numerical information but more geometric or other information

i think its good that the teacher confronts the students with the "worst case".
Also, math in its "true form" (university stuff) is always at least as confusing as this little geometry exercise. usually in highschool you dont get into contact with that shit since all you do is boring calculus. I think its a good idea to let people have a taste of it, teach them their instincts are worthless in "true form" math nad that they have to rely on the rules they learned in class.

its more confusing in the sense that "a set can be both closed and open" or "the negative transcendental number to the power of an imaginary number times another transcendtal number is 1" you cant always interpret things in the correct way that makes sense to you but showing things that are flat out wrong seems dumb anyway like 95%+ of people arent going to study much if any maths in post secondary so it seems dumb to confuse everyone and put them off early

I wasn't trying to defend the question really, that's just how my reply to Aus came out(since he was discussing the questions merits as a pure math question forcing you to fight your intuitive processes). I actually agree with you in regards to diagrams/drawings and their use in a question.

People have money and they want to support what they like. maybe wave is mad because no one likes him Hey I like Wave. I just don't watch his streams at all because he doesn't stream anything that I care to watch. He still has a sexy awesome voice though. + Show Spoiler +Hey sweet I'm a Firebat now. Slammin' I forget if you answered this, but what DO you like? All I remember is the stuff you don't You did ask me this and I DID respond. It was a nice and long answer too, I'm glad it made such an impression. ;_; Basically when it comes to things that I watch, I'd put myself down for mostly fighting games and Warhammer 40k Dawn of War II replays. I'll watch other things as well, but those are the ones I watch the most. Of course the things that I watch and the things that I play are two different categories. I'll happily watch someone play some game that I do play, but I do like watching fighting games and DoWII because I suck at fighting games and the caster for DoWII replays is probably the best caster I've ever seen. Ever. lol I kinda don't feel bad because I don't remember that as being your answer. Yeah so you really don't like anything I play haha You should just watch my stream to hang out with the other TLers and make fun of me
In other news, a really good friend of mine just got engaged so I'm off to New York (Manhattan I think) at some point in the future! Who wants to hang?

Nah, intuition is a pretty big part of math. It's just that you have to get used to the structures enough that your intuition points you in the right direction. And then you have to actually prove that your intuition was right.

3 way tiebreakers in American Qualifier group stage, on TS if anyone wants to watch together(and if you don't want to watch with me on TS, you should totally just watch anyways, it should be pretty hype).

There's probably something close enough on imgur, but do care enough to find it?(no)

It's funny how different GD and BTS are. BTS guys are being serious in a studio, giving actual analysis. GD guys are basically lounging around shooting the shit. The kitten cam on GD's stream is pretty adorable.

I don't know who runs BTS so I can't say on their end, but GDStudio is 100% an extension of 2GDs personality.

Can you guys explain to me why everyone is so salty towards Liquid on Reddit right now? And did they qualify for TI or not?

People are questioning whether or not they threw their final match on purpose to force the 3 way tiebreaker(which could potentially eliminate SNA, who was considered a competitor for top2, but underperformed). They basically played the game like a pub(Radiance Treant).

Pretty distasteful from Liquid, having Demon carry and just generally not caring about this game, when it has huge influence over playoffs.
Basicly, DeMoN used to play carry for EG, now plays support. They were already locked for top 4, and could have potentially dicked someone out of top 4.

Liquid is secured top2(winners bracket final birth), which is why I think throw accusations are just stupid(I really don't think they fear/hate SNA enough to do that). It's still debatable how their actions were/weren't disrespectful to the competition and whatnot though.
