As much as I like Pokemon I'm going to rule no pic spam of any sort because I fear this thread would end up as a mess if so. Pics now and then are fine though but please use some common sense about it and it should all be fine.

On a serious note, I honestly don't see anything wrong with pictures as long as is isn't spam for the sake of spam. Even in KMD, back when spams were normal, it was fine because you're required to put everything past the first one in spoilers. That way it stayed pretty clean even on spammy days like an idol's birthday.

But Bear has the hammer.

What's the problem with Fire/Fighting? Is that a bad type combo because if has a bunch of weaknesses and nothing to reduce any of them (like insect/grass shouldn't be weak to grass)? Bad type coverage for STAB?

The one table in the break room at work is right by the counter. One of my co-worker's, chuck, always sits in the chair backing the counter. My other co-worker, Matt (makes random gay jokes....constantly. Talks about horse dick randomly so we always joke with him that he must like it), walks in to grab a paper plate out of one of the cabinets behind chuck.

Chuck: Do you need me to move?
Matt: Nah don't worry I'm good.
Me: Yeah, Matt's used to being between another man and a counter.
*Everyone laughs*
Matt: *in a joking manner* Fuck you, Mike.

It's been overdone now with the last three fire starters all dual typing into Fighting.

Hoenn: Tochic/Combusken/Blaziken
Sinnoh: Chimchar/Monferno/Infernape
Unova: Tepig/Emboar/Pignite

The problem is that it's been done before and most fans want something new. Nothing is inherently wrong with the typing; Infernape and Blaziken are both incredible.

In Johto it was Cyndaquil/Quilava/Typhlosion who were all mono-type Fire (the same way the other two staters in Johto were mono-type)
