If OT and LR were truly equivalent in terms of spammy vs not spammy style I wouldn't need to go to LR. It may just be a different community but that's just it: different communities attract different people, who post differently, with discrete qualities measurable and inexpressible, and as a result anniversary posts favor one community over another. Conspiracy of importance aside I'd rather just ignore them entirely and find my own meanings in numbers as I stumble upon each one, and if someone else decided to add a picture of a dog in a party hat to a post with some crazy number that they really liked for some reason (mathematical or otherwise) at least I'd think it was cool. | ||

We're not in a fight. You're empirically wrong on so many levels that it's not worth fighting about. The first half of that show was stupid as fuck. A bunch of fights and characters that had nothing to do with the story and all the main/secondary characters get little to no development at all until like episode 14. Out of 25. If I have to wait more than half of the entire run to get any sort of character or plot development, something's wrong. It got considerably better in the second half, but the first part was so bad that I can't go any higher in good conscience. | ||

In fact, I'd say the biggest problem with TTGL as a series is how shallow and uninteresting the supporting cast is, and that this is the main difference between TTGL and KLK thematically, and they fixed it in spades. | ||

The secondary characters holding out until the second half makes sense. If Simon was 1 dimensional all the way up until the time skip I probably would hate it as well. He, Kamina, Yoko, and even Viral get their early arcs in the first part. Ryuko doesn't change barely at all until parasol chick shows up in episode 11, hell the only character who seems to get any development at all is Mako (who was by far my favorite character next to Gamagoori). | ||
