I've probably met like over 40-50 TLers IRL I think? Some were just in passing but a fair share are people I hang out with on a regular basis now (mainly NYC ones), and a bunch I talk to/play games with on a regular basis online.

My friend dan who i knew for like a year before i knew he was a Tler is a real TLer although he mainly just lurks from time to time and has never posted from what i know. He has a TL shirt with his gamertag even lol

A lot of TL people live in California...
IDK I feel like I met a lot of people without even really going out of my way to meet them. I've only traveled to one event (MLG Providence,) and occasionally venture out to NYC events. I think my numbers are helped by the fact that TLHQ was in NYC though so I met a lot of people who came by to visit the HQ since I happened to live in the city ~_~
I actually haven't met a lot of LoL subforum people specifically from LoL, I've met a few incidentally/knew them outside of the context of LoL. I think the only guy whom I really knew from the LoL subforum I've met is Kissblade lol.

I know semioldguy in RL, knew him in person before I joined TL, and then didn't know he was a TL'r til like a year after.

Where do you live anyways? Middle of nowhere? (aka not Tri-state or California)
5 years ago I randomly found out someone from TL went to the same high school as me and we met up in the library. I taped a sign that said TL on my hoodie and took a nap and he came and woke me up. I was going on basically no sleep and he thought I was super weird and awkward cause I basically said nothing since I was using every ounce of my willpower to not doze off. He occasionally brings it up on IRC ;;

Cause he had no idea what I looked like outside of "I'm Asian and I have glasses" and I had no idea what he looked like. It seemed like a pretty efficient way to identify myself.
