Saying Osmoses was just trying to be funny is pretty similar to saying bullies are just trying to be funny. Also, Osmoses's arguments are pretty bad. Eh, kind of. -Osmoses makes cheap backhanded comment -Req destroys it -Osmoses comes back for some playful debate -Playful debate escalates -None of us want any of it We all make cheap backhanded comments. CSheep made a lot with books but I guess there are no hardcore fans of the books. Thank God, I guess. I just made one against anime fans a few posts ago. And I'm gonna confuse again with this edit.

There's lots of things that I'll just let insults slide on, but KS is not one of those things. Just play some teeto and chill, I know when I get angry being a cunt with aatrox or zac top always cheers me up.

However, I also think it's time to take it to PMs to continue it, which, by all means, I encourage you both to do. Informed and instructive debate is the hallmark of an intelligent society.

He got more than he wanted and it escalated from there. It's really not that big a deal XD Basically this. I don't really care, my first post was an offhand joke, my first reply was because I felt he misunderstood me and then I got called out. I enjoy a good argument on the internet as much as the next guy, but this got too serious. I played KS for an hour, didn't like it, wrote a scathing paragraph it on the internet. @Req: I do enjoy challenging people's beliefs (though I don't usually pick arguments with random strangers). I think it's interesting to hear their defense. Most of the time they haven't spent any time thinking about it and have no idea how to justify themselves. I like bending words and making people defend their positions, it's fun. Anyway, I regret I offended you. But I won't apologize. You have the right to be offended, but you don't have the right to not be offended, and I'll not sugarcoat anything I say just because someone somewhere might get offended. You can make jokes and offhand comments about anything and chances are someone in the world will find it offensive. Doesn't mean I'm gonna stop talking. In fact I think having your values challenged is good for you. It makes you grow. Your story reminds me of one of my old friend's. His anchor was Tarzan, the Disney movie, and I made an offhand comment about it and he blew up on me. I regret making the comment, just like I regret making the KS joke, because I wasn't actually out to offend. But I won't apologize for it. I hope that make sense. Either way, I'm done with this argument.
