Antithesis Germany1185 Posts May 01 2025 18:18 GMT #21 Already some cool games in the group stage. Serral vs. Classic game 4 was a masterclass in ultra lategame ZvP. The painstaking level of patience with which Serral plays this out is mind-boggling. He kills protoss pylon by pylon, tempest by tempest, one at a time. Mana advancing is also somewhat of an upset. The upper bracket finals are mostly as expected, though: Serral, Clem, and herO. But Dark being the fourth upper bracket finalist and doing so much better than Reynor is somewhat suprising, although I couldn't really tell what to expect of either of them in any particular tournament at the moment.

It is so much fun to see Serral and Clem go at it and push each other ever further. The new 3 infestor den-rush will be meta for EWC! And props to Dark for leaving to the Military with a bang, without losing motivation.
