E: lol, this interview. Reynor: if he wins it went as planned, if he loses, he was trolling.

Don't think these results are particularly unexpected. Astrea beating Gumiho is probably a minor upset, but everything else is normal. Reynor vs Cure could've gone either way and it just barely went Reynor's way, which isn't surprising. Wouldn't have been surprising if it went the other way either. Both are elite players who have an outside chance of winning the whole thing, but aren't the absolute favourites.

How does this bracket structure even make sense?

How does this bracket structure even make sense? Just pretend they're playing a double elimination qualifier for a 4-player tournament. If they lose the qualifier, they get a second chance in a single-elimination qualifier.

We go live to Wolf for expert analysis.

Where players who won 2/3 matches get seeded vs a player who won 0 (including showtime and ragnarok)? Or is the knockout bracket randomized?

Or is the knockout bracket randomized? I have no idea, but according to liquipedia, the only seeded match is the loser of the 2nd vs 2nd bo5
