He'll only have to face terran, Shin, or Solar until the knockout finals and then a bo5 against Reynor/herO/Oliveira can go either way. | ||

Basically it's an ordinary 2 round robin group feeding into 4 or 8 team single elimination playoffs but with the modification that the teams that advance from the same group go into the same group in group stage 2. Then, instead of having them play again, the score from their group stage 1 match is transferred. I think it's a pretty nice way to make it so that you actually get a substantial advantage from going, say 3-0 rather than 2-1 in your group. | ||
