Reverting bane hp buff would be the single cleanest way to try and fix zerg's power at the top level. The only reason it got buffed in the first place was due to ByuN microing really well vs single digit numbers of banelings in late 2016 and winning TvZ games nearly instantly It’s a tricky balancing act, I’m not sure how Zerg hold some of these fiendish modern pushes with the old HP banes, equally when a Zerg gets to 80/90 drone eco they’re absurdly cost efficient even with basically human optimal splitting. You really can’t control bio much better than Byun, Clem or Cure have shown this tournament, or Maru usually does when he has more TvZs and they’re still getting ground down | ||

Zergs regularly hold early game pushes with slowbanes. It would also buff Protoss vs Zerg because it makes it obviously easier to stop baneling runbys if the banes die faster. | ||
