I mean Ragnarok didn't even make it to the top 16 Gumiho and Classic getting to the top 8 is a pretty good result for them, and 5th/6th place gets a seed to ESL Masters Summer, so even if you think Maru and Cure are a sure bet, they still fight for that seed and I just noticed that GSL gave out EPT points for the qualifiers, 17th-19th place got 60 points (Scarlett, Special, Ragnarok), and 20th to 22nd place got 25 points (TY, soO, and 영준농원?) | ||

But I got Maru and Cure coming out of this group. Maru because obviously, a group of 3 Terrans the hands down no question best TvT in the world is going to be favored. But Classic has his work cut out for him in this group and if he's going to knock off some of these Terrans in TvP I just don't think Maru will be who he knocks off. Gumiho has a hard road in pretty much every match up. I think he's capable of defeating anyone in this group but I wouldn't favor him against any single one of these guys head to head. vs Maru and Cure I'd say they are favored and against Classic I'd say it's a toss up. Group B is much much harder to call. I made my liquibets but I'm not all that confident in them. I ended up picking who I WANTED to advance because I could make a good case for all 4 players. | ||

Beating Maru is insane, but his series vs Classic was in some ways more impressive. Some of his control (the spacing and tiny micro to avoid disruptor shots) was just impeccable. | ||

Or its just all the above combined. all of the above combined + Disruptor nerf, Raven cost and build-time reduction (while leaving the main TvP spell unchanged) and Liberator cost reduction. The patch was just a massive net buff for terran in TvP | ||
