I know some guy trash-talk DRG in WTL and thats bad, but can someone tell me what build did he try there? No bane nest, no Lair, only 6 Queens, pure ling on double upgrade? Like hes asking to be killed with a push.

Damn, that was a good game. Reminded me a game between Reynor and Oliveria before. Both DRG and Reynor uncharacteristically made excessive lings and queens until they realized too late to make hydras. And kudos to Byun to always bunker up and close the gap so that the lings cannot burst in.

DRG overextended too many times after winning fights, if he had just sat back more after crushing the first few move outs he would have had it.

Just one or 2 Infestors would end the game right there with how clumped up the Marine ball is. DRG keep forcing the engagement without a good surround was just bad.

this is what happens when you purposely lower the quality of your product to save money, people complain because the product got worse. way less deep than you're making it. has nothing to do with entitlement. people will post their complaints and then simply find something else to do. the boomer takes about people not ~supporting the scene~ by settling for a bad product are unnecessary

Holy crap, a "2 base" Terran vs 4-5 base Zerg, behind in upgrades - and he WON?

Even though there were mistakes ofc, Byun's aggressive style puts pressure on people, so it can still be credited to him for making those mistakes happen

That was actually one of the most hardcore intense and exciting games I've seen in a while, at least of that kind
Every time Byun stimmed with his marines with red HP, it was so intense like he's saying "it's do or die, im going all-in", it was just so determined and insane but it all worked, the micro was really fun to watch on both sides too, they were really both playing their hearts out holy crap

Once they sorted out the vods on youtube it was almost like a regular GSL... obviously Byun's webcam was terrible which was a shame but it was still way above most other online tournaments.

And that last game was pretty amazing. Byun pulling a victory out purely on his control was something to watch, a proper back and forth. Gutted to lose DRG but happy to have the two traditionally stronger players advance
