Notice how different Maru played against Rogue. He knows what he did against Rogue will not work against Reynor. If Maru plays like this against Serral on the other hand, I think he would have lost. | ||

His final army was good; he just assembled it when he was already out of money. 0-2 might be too late tho, even if he's figured it out in theory. I think if he goes into the late game comp right away, Maru is gonna have more space aswell though. | ||

He caught Maru by surprise initially with the Broodlords, so he had that advantage going for him. If Maru had caught that transition earlier he would have had a better time against it. Also caught a really nice fungal/Parasitic Bomb on the Vikings. Maru just adjusted, destroyed his eastern mining, forcing Reynor to expand super close to Terran which is not where he wanted to fight. That final fight took place primarily off of creep. So Maru's got the late game figured out WAY more than Reynor does in this series. Reynor will need to do more than just adjust his unit comp to beat him. Solar looked better in the late game than Reynor has so far. | ||
