I think soO has a decent shot here, Trap is super scary in pvt I wouldn't count him out against INno, and he also kind of suck in pvz

If Inno gets past Trap I think soo will lose yet another finals to inno.

I don’t see Trap winning this one, I think INno is the most likely followed by soO

Lmao I just checked his liquipedia page. soO has lost a GSL, IEM, HSC, and VSL finals to Inno. Why not add a TSL?

soO has won more money by losing to INno than most player have made in their career.

Also.. is the format really 0:0 going into the final? Why doesn't SoO start with 1-0 or any of the typical UB vs LB stuff. Format seems weird.

I won't forget soO beat INno to get there, but I agree that if INno gets to the finals he's the heavy favorite.

soO in finals vs soO before finals is basically the dog vs werewolf meme.

Hoping for soO to win it but if it's inno in the final it's going to be a really tall order

soO is in the beautiful spot where both winning and losing are a great story for him, and we don't have to feel about about him losing since he won the Katowice jackpot in 2019

I know Rotti has a thing with being a big believer in specific players, but I still find it odd that he thinks ByuN would be competitive so quickly after returning from the military. Everyone else has needed at least a year to get into shape and ByuN wasn't even doing that well when he left progaming. If anything, a micro-heavy player like ByuN would probably need more time than others to get his hands working well again.

Yeah ByuN has several accounts at 6.9k MMR and got a job in the military that allows him to go home at night (and practice) iirc. Even without seeing him in tournaments he's probably the best of the returnees.

Oh, I had no idea. If people want to practice with him already that is a different thing entirely. And if he's on 6.9k mmr, that's crazy.
Nevertheless, quarterfinals in Code S seems very difficult in his first season. It was difficult for him even before he went to the military.

IIRC his name also came up as a practice partner during this season of GSL. I mean he's not gonna win GSL in his first season back but I don't think he will drop off as far from where he used to be as other players did. Oh, I had no idea. If people want to practice with him already that is a different thing entirely. And if he's on 6.9k mmr, that's crazy. Nevertheless, quarterfinals in Code S seems very difficult in his first season. It was difficult for him even before he went to the military. I wouldn't bet on it happening (ByuN in the ro8) but if you tell me that will happen I won't bet against you either

this is a good series, I agree it lacks a bit of variety so far but I'm enjoying it
|
Still no overseers in the muta control group
|
Remarkably decent game for a TvZ on P&I.
edit: But terran wins as usual.

Inno's ability to not run out of shit will never stop being impressive.

I can't remember INno doing that recently unfortunately. He's gone for the really cyclone heavy battlemech on Golden Wall, but no true turtly mech.

I mean who isn't a cheeselord compared to Heromarine? Even Showtime plays fewer honourable macro games than Heromarine.

pulling off what rotti described is like the most inno thing ever

well that's something at least

|
Great start, now hide everything!

Zergs do take the back base as the third occasionally (mostly when they get bunker rushed admittedly), so INno might thing that that's what's happening.

Innos gonna rally a drop to the "third" and randomly find it. that would be an innovation move
