He has info on Maru while Maru has none on him. I mean the info he has is "1/1/1, defend into tank push". Its not like Maru pulled out any super innovative special builds.. (maybe the combat shield one but thats a garbage build imo). It woule be exciting to see what timings Zest has prepared tho.

I mean, why bother giving credit to zest for big brain plays amirite starcraft reddit is literally clueless It’s really confusing to me that people can follow something to the extent they post on a subreddit and have zero knowledge of it soaked up.

Serral did his part, but so did Zest. You have to appreciate the fact Serral has never lost worse than 2-3 in bo5 in the last two years; however, I am seeing a worrisome trend for which no only Serral has started losing most of the decider games, he has also started choking in important series(against Reynor at BlizzCon, for example).

Do you guys think Jin Air players have an agreement to share the prize between themselves? And would something like that be against the rules? They all seem so selfless in their cheerings for Maru lol

Also is Maru the single most boring interviewee in the history of SC2? Number one that I can recall but I’m probably blanking some from the past
I vaguely remember a pregame interview for Maru vs Inno from the Kespa days. They managed to say absolutely nothing of substance the entire time.

He's probably somewhat above par for 2011 Korean terrans unfortunately.

He was quite confident in ZvP leading up to the tournament but it's safe to say no-one in Europe plays that aggressive style to same level. Well the best European Protoss generally exhibits the opposite of killer instinct. Lilbow at his best was actually a nice change from that. Is it killer instinct if you play the same allin every game?

Not quite. Inno beat him 3-1 at HSC.

Well does PartinG have a killer instinct according to you
I think most "killer" P were extremely good with sentries and/or blink stalkers.

Man, you can happily live in the delusion that it wasn't Maru fault for the dream match not happening but, before, I'll just remind you that Maru was capable of losing to TIME last BlizzCon.

My bad. I was thinking of direct elimination series only!

To be fair, Maru did crush TIME in the decider. If we're onto bo3s and such, Serral has lost against the likes of Rail previously and Hurricane most recently...
My point not being that it's Serral's fault of course, but it's just a funny example you gave when there's much better ones to suggest e.g. losing 3-0 to sOs in 2018
