So Hurricane and PartinG should get seeded to stage 2 for the 2nd Korean qualifier since TY and Stats advanced today. If soO also advances I guess Solar gets his seed. Or maybe Has for some clownage

How exactly is the seeding done? Do they just add the Asian circuit players with their circuit wcs points to the KR wcs list?
Also, Solar looks firmly in control of that series, don't think soO is getting out today.

I assume that's what they do yeah. With TIME being the exception, he got a higher seed than Stats because he did better at Blizzcon even though he had the least WCS points out of the seeded players.
Don't expect soO to win this either but never bet on a Korean Zerg in ZvZ.

Oh, okay. So it is a little bit confusing.
The only heartening thing about Korean ZvZ is that even if they keep on losing eventually someone will win and it ends

soO is 0 for 3 in qualifying matches now. That has to be an IEM record.

TY, Stats, and Solar advance. Suck it Splyce organisation people.

Aren't qualifying matches akin to finals, I wonder?

I haven't found any instance where someone had 3 qualifying matches in the IEM Katowice qualifiers for the same event and lost them all. Can soO go even further beyond?

Next up is the EU qual. Will be interesting to see how many Koreans try to duke it out on the bad ping.

What, are you suggesting he goes for the famed 5-match grand slam?

I'm definitely expecting Bunny to play on EU, he tries every year and always gets close to qualifying.
Also wouldn't be surprised if, like every year, Neeb qualifies through EU.

Trap also had some tough luck. He Lost to Maru and then Zest in NA qualifier. Then he lost to Stats and Solar in Kr. So he only played the guys Who qualified later on.

Armani almost choked that away and Taeja never should have been in it for how badly his early game went. That's what made it amazing. I counted TaeJa dead at least 5 times and Armani just never could get it done. That TaeJa clawed back and made it a game as impressive.

soO losing in three seperate qualifying matches is a bit of an oof. He's rich enough to still go to the main event regardless of qualification even if he doesn't make it in the next KR qualifier (I hope anyway).

Although it's fairly likely he doesn't know himself
