His consistency is insane, and that applies also games against Koreans over long time period (since Feb 2018) as its not like he would've been losing games or matches for making it easy for them. Even when swept it has not been like ANY Koreans would've been SO much better. GSL this and GSL that, enough Koreans have tested Serral for them ALL knowing he isn't just a random "Foreigner". I find it difficult to understand why people put Serral and his achievements down, when its clear that there are no Koreans who would do that. ... ZEST!

No I guess I'm just not impressed with heavy mid-game timings and wonky all-ins. Not to say he's not awesome. He's great. I've just never had that completely awestruck moment like I have with many other players at their peaks.

In that case, the only frasible explanation would be that he just decided it's not worth practicing for and basically un-retired in the process of the tournament. Because his games at the start were really bad.

Obviously the only explanation is that he gets better the drunker he gets ![]() Stats tried to emulate his style, but sadly it doesn't work the same way for him.

His brain just lived to win something and now he did it, it just died. I guess thank God he won IEM because he is never gonna make to another final ever again. I wasn't impressed by IEM. His only good match was vs Serral and all the others were utterly terrible.

I can't imagine people regarding that as anything but an achievement in and of itself. To be known as good at video games in korea .... that is like being the top writer from the Iowa Writers Workshop. That is a legit elite hierarchy.
