If not for the fact that he was doing all these things at the same time against the second strongest player in the world. That was some insane speed and precision. Just insane.

Classic is so sad. I always feel sorry for these pro players who lose, but that was an amazing series.

Seems I decided to check out Sc2 again at the right time. Just WOW. And his play was what I always wanted to see Zergs do... he used both Corruptor ability and he slimed the buildings to stop their production with Overseers.

I'm more impressed by his tactics than speed/precision. He wasn't really controlling in multiple areas or outdoing Classic with great micro/macro. He won by attacking in the right places at the right times. I don't even think Classic considered he would get counterattacked by lings or corruptors like that.

He used everything zerg has in the bag and that's something you rarely see. If zergs start playing like him we'll see much more than one in the next ro8

That was legit. Super exciting series, this coming from someone who finds ZvP a snorefest at the moment. Classic was very shaky on game 1 but that second game was was lit.

Reynor showing some scary zerg play with the level of map awareness, positioning and multi-tasking he displayed. Reminds me of he-who-shall-not-be-named’s + Show Spoiler +
Life
counter-attack style. Constantly keeping his opponents busy and on their side of the map. A crazy hard brand of zerg to execute but so exciting to watch as a spectator, especially when pulled off like that!

Loving that happy go lucky grin as well, and the barely containable happiness during the interview. The passionate Italiano style is definitely a refreshing contrast to the archetypal Korean demeanour that we’re used to.

Worth mentioning, he didn't just counterattack with lings. If there were cannons there, he would send a few roaches to help with it. There was no way to shut down the counterattack permanently with defenses, his opponents constantly have to be ready.

He counterattacked with corruptors to kill the nexus at the end as well. I've always hated that ability but it's great to see a zerg finally using it to great effect.
