Games have to be good because finals = most viewed sc2 of the year, big ads.
The best would have been a Rogue vs TY finals, now a soO vs TY.
But we all know it will be soO vs herO/INno, not that good to promote the game.
A TY finals would suck, honestly he is probably going to get 3-0 by INnoVation

Remember TY vs Rogue gsl s2...
But the bracket is so bad because herO was too greedy, winning a game who was already lost against Dark
I'm sure he regrets it now

ZvZ isn't stable so yes, Dark got unlucky.
Same thing was near to happened to him last year.
But I agree that it's 100% TY , Rogue and Stats fault.
And herO because wow , you had to GG before your comeback boi , now you have the worst Bracket and Dark is depressed

dark always so overhyped lol. i wasn't really all that surprised at prince kong being eliminated in the group stages...
|
Rofl Dark isn't overhyped.
He was top 3 world this season. INno had to prepare a special build just for him, because he is unplayable against bio, + incredible moves from INno, if not, Dark was the GSL S3 champion + SSL finals + easier group for the blizzcon
But you haven't seen his match I guess
|
I'm not sure why you would want a Blizzcon tournament if the only results satisfactory for you is if the players you *already* considered the best before the tournament win..
|
wow Major doing some clean work!

I'm biased but the bracket looks pretty nice for soO.

I don't know with who he practiced but he can't be worst than Serral imo.
So soO is heavily favored indeed

soO vs. Innovation finals would be cool

I do think soO vs Inno is the most likely finals, though.

Unlucky? Certainly not they played worse so they lost. But their potential skill level they can show is much higher if they get their shit together than that of Special/Elazer etc so it's a shame they face each other so early

the guy was sarcastic and idk what are you talking about. You know, lets invite maru maybe potentially he could show a higher skill level, it's a shame. What am i reading in all these threads, ppl may think u are serious, and u are , and thats sad

A foreigner who beat 2 KR in the group stage meets Elazer in the RO8 in blizzcon, why does it ring a bell?

Inb4 Elazer makes it to the Ro4 only to get defeated by a famous KR Zerg, who then loses in the finals to a hugely hyped Terran that beat TY in the Ro8 and a strong Protoss in the Ro4.
According to history, then, Inno beats soO in the finals.

$140k equals to 3 GSL first places. I think Soo would still be happy with it, as long as Inno take the first place <3

After 6 GSL silvers, it's much more a matter of pride rather than money. And even if you care exclusively about the money, a second place is $140k that you failed to get.
