Two updates for y'all:
- This Saturday at 19h CEST will be the first of the Local Track tournaments through which Benelux players can get direct access to the DSCL Open finals. Incidentally, it's also a qualifier for the WESG Benelux tournament, so LOTS of reasons to sign up if you're from the Netherlands, Belgium or Luxembourg. Sign up at Esports Wall.
- The finals for the DSCL Open will be held on December 9th in Alphen aan den Rijn - save the date! For the first time we'll be in a dedicated e-sports facility: the E-sports Game Arena. They're going to open soon, worth checking out.

The first qualifier is this Monday! Twenty sign-ups so far, and we invite any and all StarCraft players to join them. Of course we'll be streaming the qualifier on Twitch.tv/DSCLeague, so you may just get featured

NERD SWEATS breaking out here: today we're kicking off another year of fun matches, exciting qualifiers and a finals event to remember.

Last week Tarrantius, BlueCheese and Gerald entered the DSCL, making it so that we're on our way to becoming the most international edition yet. 6 nationalities already represented!
Tonight we'll add three more players to the roster, and 3rd time's the charm so sign up .
For Benelux players wanting to get into WESG: so far no Benelux players have made it to Ro4 (except Optimus, but he's already qualified), so getting to the semi-finals of a qualifier pretty much guarantees entrance to the WESG Benelux tournament at Firstlook.

Tonight is the LAST CHANCE for players who haven't participated in the DSCL Open yet to get on board. The 4th qualifier is the last regular, open qualifier.
What's more: for players from the Benelux this is the very last chance to get into WESG. That's kind of a big deal. Harstem, uThermal, Optimus, Djorjx and Marsman have already earned seeds for this Sunday's WESG Benelux tournament at Firstlook Festival, and the last three seeds will be determined tonight. So far it looks good for Arnovic, aGaham and NEEK, but things could certainly still change.

In other news though, tonight is the last-chance qualifier for the DSCL Open, in which only players who made it to at least a Ro8 in previous qualifiers can play. In total that's 11 players:

Updates!
- The Groups have been announced and scheduled. They will be streamed (by Lowko and Wardi) this month on the 17th, 23rd, 24th and 26th. Check out Liquipedia.
- More Local Track tournaments for Benelux players have been announced: four tourneys will be held at the E-sports Game Arena.
- We're hosting another BlizzCon BarCraft this year! Join us (no entry fee) at the E-sports Game Arena on November 3rd and 4th. Info is at DSCL.nl/BarCraft.

Kicking off the group stage tonight are uThermal, TomikuS, Marsman and WoodedMicrob - DSCL regulars and a new face. Only two will qualify for the finals... Brackets are here!

Introducing the ThermyCup for Benelux players! None other than Marc ‘uThermal’ Schlappi, two-time champion of the DSCL Open and the Netherlands’ second-best Terran player, has become a patron of the Benelux StarCraft community. He’s hosting a €300 prize money cup on November 29th and 30th especially for Benelux players, and in his benevolence decided not to play in it himself .
Want to play in the ThermyCup? Then do your best in all the upcoming DSCL Local Track tournaments! All players who are in reach of a top-4 position in the Local Track will be invited for the ThermyCup. As such the ThermyCup is the last chance to get Local Track points for anyone who is still in the running to get to top-4 of the ranking (and qualify for the DSCL Open Finals Event).
BONUS: If you haven’t played Local Track tournaments, or not enough to be in range of top-4, but you still want to play in the ThermyCup, then there’s one extra way to qualify. On November 28th, one day before the ThermyCup starts, there’s an online qualifier (again: Benelux players only) of which the two best players qualify for the ThermyCup as well. So even if you’ve already qualified for the DSCL Open Finals Event through the Online Track (or just haven’t been able to play in the DSCL this year), the ThermyCup is within reach!

This week is CRAZY: all three remaining groups for the DSCL Open will be played. We're starting tonight with Group D: Gerald, Arnovic, Agaham and Djorjx will be going live on WardiTV at 19h CEST. Tune in!

Yesterday the first 'foreigner' qualified for the Finals Event: Polish Protoss player Gerald. Well played! He's joined by Dutch regular aGaham, and while Djorjx and Arnovic didn't make it yesterday, they still have a good chance to get to the finals through the Local Track.
Tonight we're going straight through into Group C with Harstem, Ziggy, Spazymazy and JackO! Tune in to Wardi at 19h to catch the matches .

Tonight the Online Track concludes! Optimus, RiSky, Fmtc and Sparkypants will divide the last two Finals seeds among themselves, after which the Local Track will be the only way left of getting to the finals.

This week there's THREE tournaments for earning Local Track points. Through the DSCL Open Local Track Benelux players can qualify directly for the Finals Event on December 9th, so if you're a local player: sign up and get those points.

- Tonight 19h: Local Track at the Esports Game Arena in Alphen
- Tomorrow 19h: Online Local Track on Battlefy
- Thursday 19:30h: Online Local Track at Kayzr (they're doing weekly StarCraft cups now!)

This week the final stop in the Local Track will be played: the €300 ThermyCup! 9 players have been invited because of their performance in the Online Track and Local Track, and three more players can qualify through tonight's qualifier. There's rumor that Harstem, Lowko and even Rotti will be playing in the qualifier, and already some old-school Dutch StarCraft-players have signed up.

is the Thermy cup a single event (no series, no cup 2 or like that?)
if so I'd copy Kashim's page (which is more complete) over yours to have it "nested" in the DSCL event and redirect his page to the page that will come out from that
if instead it is a series or a non single event I'd "unnest" it from the DSCL (leaving references of it having been part of 2017 DSCL ofc) and redirect your page to Kashim's one
