The thing that makes a matchup good for me is when you get consistant tiers of players. Like in HoTS players like Rain, Zest, sOs etc would look unbeatable vs most other protoss. When disruptor-blink meta became massive in Korea almost all top PvPers were at like 50% Agree 100% with this. It's why I dislike current TvT so much, because people like Inno can lose to people like aLive. TY and Inno are two of the best Terrans, but their TvT is pretty much equal to that of Gumiho, aLive, and Ryung. | ||

Gumi, aLive, and Ryung are legit great at TvT to be fair, it's just the other matchups they struggle with. But yeah seeing Inno/TY/Maru lose to the GomTvT terrans is annoying because you know those probably will get 0-3'd by a protoss afterwoods | ||

So, with all of the historically great ones gone/worse, it's no surprise to see things are close. | ||
