I think Nerchio is aware that him posting on twitter after losing is almost a meme, and he's now gonna post positivity in some meta responce Nerchio is just honest. Losing to Stats is okay for him, so he can congratulate him. If he lost to Pili skytossing him again or something, the salt would be real! The point is that losing vs Stats this way was painful for me and Byun, we got outplayed really hard and it felt like we had no chance Yeah, makes sense to me. People are just not used to nice tweets like this from you I guess. By 'people' do you mean few random haters on TL? Pretty much :D They have to think hard nowadays to come up with reasons to hate. I think last year he kinda brought it upon himself with the comments on korean players, him changing the perception of foreigners etc. There was nothing wrong with anything he said though, if anything we need more confidence in players and more players that are willing to make statements like that.

Lol. People want brackets full of Koreans because Koreans are almost univerally better players that produce more exciting games. Unless you change the DNA of these players or give foreigners true drive/skill than it won't change anytime soon

I didn't say there was, but you can't trash talk players everyone love and then lose to them and expect to not get hate. Especially when you're known for being a generally salty player, haters will prioritize you

There were a lot of fun games in WCS last year. Showtime vs Nerchio was a more enjoyable tournament finals than most of the ones we get in Korea.
It's unfortunate that the amount of tournaments for non-Koreans is so low this year (so far), their scene developed a lot in 2016.

No one wants that. People want open brackets so they can see the best 16 or 32 (or whatever) players in the world compete. and if some of them aren't korean thats a benefit. The region lock got backlash beacuse it was basically 32 players we know are not the best competing.

The sad thing is, some people just want foreigners to fail, regardless of skill.
Some people would've been happier with Patience and TRUE getting out of group C over Serral and Nerchio for example. Just for the reason that they are Korean.

So if some Korean games are boring are the boring foreigner games disregarded?

How is it that xenophobia is still alive. Foreigners deserve credit for their play and level atm but I don't see any issue concerning tournament organization.
