If a player manages to achieve 3 map victories in a row, they will receive an extra life. This allows them to lose one map and still stay in the tournament. Their opponent will receive the map winnings and will go on to play them again in order to dethrone them completely. Does someone know why Polt did not get an extra life in the first tournament after defeating RagnaroK, Hydra and Kelazhur? He lost to Dear on his 4th map and was instantly dethroned. | ||
