TLO played at the very start of sc2, but then he had to drop out in the playoffs, since he had to attend an MLG (his contract with Sony Ericsson said he had to play every MLG I think). So ESL didn't like that, not sure if he was banned for 1 season or something. Anyway since then he didn't play EPS anymore, he said he just enjoys the international scene a lot more and wants to focus on that.
Next cup is in roughly 1 hour! ToD and Kaelaris casting again I think.

I just asked TLO on his stream, he might compete in EPS again in the future since WCS Premiere no longer exists.

TLO ranked 8th, so we get to see him play in this today? Seems like we never see him in Meisterschaft
Also, to clarify, how does the major ladder work? Are they arranged matches or is it just results from when they play each other on ladder?

Those are custom games, you have to challenge each other in Major league I think.
And yes I think TLO should play today .
Today should be a nice day to watch ESL Meisterschaft.

What is the mappool for todays cup, last seasons ladder maps or this seasons ladder maps?
edit: apparently this time the old maps but the next cup will have the new maps.

Ohhhh yeah, I remember the drama: TLO not playing in the playoffs because of MLG and the whole German scene was rioting because of it. :D
To think he hasn't touched EPS since then and is only returning now is quite interesting (I was sure he tried to qualify again since then).

I think afterwards he just wanted to make sure there would be nore more schedule issues and he just enjoyed international competition more. But now there are few enough events and no more WCS League, so he can commit to EPS.

Ye, should be a fine Top 4. I really hope that Gunfu can overcome HeroMarine and break this insane streak of always having the same players in the finals. 
Looking at how mutch HeroMarine played lately, it should be more doable than ever. (Hopefully )

well, heromarine is currently rank 2 on NA and rank 9 on EU Ladder, i think he is in good shape right now.
looking for heromarine vs showtime in the finals. showtime vs lambo will be an great and intense match

btw the top level in germany is pretty good, lambo / showtime / heromarine and gungfubanda is better than most countries
