OK, so I have a dumb question, but Korea isn't following a day light saving(time shifting)? because I am always a little bit confused - sometimes the GSL starts 11:30 and sometimes 10:30 and I am not sure whether it's because we shift time between CET and CEST or it's something else
Thanks!
GO SOO AND SOS!!!! I would scream but I am at work so I cannot So I wrote it in caps

That's exactly why.
Thanks! So I was envy about their SC2 Korean tournaments(duh!) Now I envy them the absence of this time shifting madness(I really bear that badly). I am full of envy, that's not healthy
Edit> I envy now more because I cannot meet Korean pros in Europe that "easily"(I mean Katowice, man, that's so close to me!!)
I hope soO remembers he has to be on the top as iloveoov promised. soO, you are my most favorite Zerg player right now, I dear you to not get 2nd place in a finals vs. sOs. Or 1st, I can live with that too

Yeah was going to say i didn't say he didn't deserve to lose just adding to why he did that. Clearly his overlord key got stuck :3

Yeah, i think all zerg players have done that on accident at some point. I know i have
Was that a BO loss? I mean soO went for drops and didn't have anything for defense and he did less damage than adepts(no shock there ). Does that qualify as a BO loss?
I'm sure I saw a Corruptor kill an Immortal once. Maybe Dark vs Zest? Lifted it to save it from a ground army and the corruptors swept in to steal the kill.
Playing bad after a break is normal for soO :D Anyhow I think this is starting to look not ideal for trust, I thought he would go for the chargelot immortal timing and kill soO before lurkers

Phoenix play was very perfect, but then wrong decision making transition. He should've built strong ground force and hit timing attack before zerg has lurkers then easy win for Trust imho.
In my honest opinion it looks like soO has very amazing macro. Better than I remembered. He seems to be very good at injecting I think and building drones at good timings

Honestly if he pulls his oracles back after seeing soO amass a huge army in the middle of the map instead of suiciding them to kill more workers, he could have held I think.

Yeah, the voidrays weren't needed and just delayed the ground units...immortals etc. Phoenix did quite a bit of damage, so a push before lurkers was most likely his biggest chance.
First game wasn't macroed well by soO, but second and third were better. Also injecting got easier in LOTV. ^^
Third game was fun to watch, Looks like Trust built a few too many orcales. Should have switched to ground/void rays perhaps?!

It's also terrible for the Protoss image. Whether reasonable or not, even some P are saying the cannon is just stupid. And it makes pro players look like they can only press one button while their opponent T and Z have clearly visible micro that viewers see and appreciate.

I'm protoss and I don't like Overcharge at all (same with Adepts ), but at the same time I know protoss needs PO to even stay alive. Wish we could get real fixes instead of bandaids like that~~
But at the same time, no matter how many skillfull moves Protoss'd make in a game, he would still receive hate for just being Protoss. Happens on ladder too, when I outplay my opponents all game long, having obs everywhere, harrasing and attacking in few places while also defending and all I get is 'nice race you have there" to put it mildly.

I actually don't think that is true. Protoss always was the unwanted child in sc2, i said this time and time again but i really think it's mostly about the aesthetics of 200 supply protoss armies/forcefields/etc It looks bad and unbalanced even if it isn't. Add questionable design choices to that which snowball the game very fast and you get the protoss appreciation we have right now.

SC2's major problems, in no particular order:
- The Mule - Colossus - Absolutely no method to Late-Game balance.
The first two were fairly obvious design flaws. The third happened because of the first two.
I don't understand KeeN's decision to see the push moving out and still go for the drop. He was so far away that of course Journey will have enough. Maybe some nerves or something. Pumped for Game 2

Really nice positioning by keen tho. Might actually be able to claw his way back into this game if he continues this.
Yeh though with better control by Journey he would just load his Marines onto the natural high ground after loading the high ground with 3-4 siege tanks. That is however difficult to do mechanically, and thus I feel this was more an issue with Journeys unit control.
KeeN actually did pretty well for the position he got himself into early on. I actually think he'll be able to get himself into better situations in the next games in the early game. He was pretty good at that :D

Journey with no plan on how to deal with 3 medivac drop. Keen with subpar defense against the expected counterattack (you need sieged tanks with medivacs over them prepared to reposition them).
hahahaha that fight Keen - I HAVE THE HIGH GROUND Journey - Okay that's nice if you will excuse me I will go kill your base now Keen - NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Journey - That works too

It was ok to take the high ground as he would get off a lot of Siege Tank hits if Journey kept moving forward. But you need to be able to reposition your tanks really fast. Keen, however, wasn't capable of doing that.
As entertaining as the game may be, this is a very low level (from korean standards) game.

Broadcast costs for music being significantly lower helps them.

I think Dear will win tonight, sOs loves to disappoint when 100k isn't on the line.

It was being played in SSL last night, so maybe not just yet.
It was a reaction to sOs going double stargate phoenix imo. Phoenixes make a lot of disruptors useless, and if there are no disruptors in play you don't need 40 stalkers.

Dear reacted properly to the fast expansion and there's nothing better at pylon sniping than immortals(this early in the game). He could gone for a sentry on the ramp, but that would meant slower death animation, nothing else.
Finally caught up on SC after starting a new job with a very inflexible schedule. Thoughts:
1. Mech is so boring guys, ugh. And having more bases doesn't help in any way against a mech player with LotV economy. We obviously saw that in g4 of Keen vs Journey. I'm totally serious. Also, Warp Prism should get an attack.
2. Commander Keen. Why does he always have to come so agonizingly close to advancing before being denied? It's so heartbreaking.
3. Get wrecked and stomped right in your dirty face, sOs.
4. Actually that PvP was so good that I almost feel bad for him missing out on Code S. Oh well, I'll get over it.
