Well, if Snute wins this IEM, he'll have an argument for the best PvZ of all time.

Norwegian ZvP > French PvZ

Also lol my stream froze on the best image:

Taeja and MMA were 2 of the top 4 last year

taeja is different and MMA has shown he can cut it in the KR leagues. but point taken.

herO just got $2,000 and 375 WCS points for beating Cyan, jim, and XY LOL. No wonder he loves IEM so much

herO getting WCS points is meaningless to him

Not meaningless to other players who have only played Koreans so far :D

Ask herO if he cares about them

Irrelevant whether or not herO cares in this case

Not really, herO is top dog in WCS points and can't possibly leave the top 8, herO getting any more WCS points is literally meaningless to everyone. Especially with Parting and Classic also on lock for blizzcon

But there are players here who desperately want WCS points, and who gives a fuck what herO thinks about that? W/e bow down to based god randomization it is the only way to run a tournament fairly

I don't think they should have rigged the brackets after seeing the player distribution, that's BS. The real solution would've been having more good players show up for the open bracket like they usually do.

Seeding players isn't rigging the god damn brackets LOL why can nobody in the sc2 scene grasp the concept of seeding

They did do seeding, 1st place vs 2nd place. Alternatively I guess they could've done seeding tie breakers by WCS Points so that #1 seed would be the 1st placer who has the most WCS Points and they would face the 2nd placer who has the least WCS Points. But they wouldn't have needed that if there weren't so many dropouts.

And they happened to draw A vs B C vs D. Plus with bracket rule of "if a player is in your group you can't possibly face him again til the finals" it's really a 50/50. Losira for example could only have played Classic or XY so essentially he lost $1000 on a coin flip. Not saying it's that easy to do it better (although other games seed players based on skill ALL THE TIME and it never causes as many problems as sc2's beloved randomization) I'm saying that sucks big time

And Bomber was top 8 but lost to MMA, Polt and MC put up great fights. Then again none of these players except Polt are still in NA/EU.

Bomber was also a legitimate championship contender last year and the year before playing in korea in 2013 and America in 2014. Jaedong made the ro4 in 2013 playing in WCS America.

1) It was a joke
2) Getting in through EU/AM as a Korean was infinitely easier than a Korean getting through from Korea

Okay? Doesn't change the fact that Losira lost $1000 on a coin flip, something a piss drunk gambler in vegas wouldn't even have happen to them. It's even worse because he lost the 1k after working much harder to even get to the point where they flipped the coin than anybody except Snute. Again, nobody seems to want seeding in sc2 so fine, but you have to admit that the result sucks for him (and Snute tbh)
