Can you not stop-mine (like stop-lurkers) where your widow mine doesn't fire at the first thing it can? It'd be nice if it could hold its firing charge so that it could explode a few seconds later on more workers.

Nope, but you can retarget if there are two things it can reach.

you can only delay it by targeting other things I think. You cant do hold position or whatever

You can if you constantly retarget it it will delay the shot.
