I really like the idea of nonstandard maps (as long as there are still standard ones). That's why I liked Habitation, because it had it's very own metagame but it wasn't imbalanced or offered dumb ways to lose after people learned that they had to play non-standard. Maybe that is what will happen with the new map pool as well, but I am not so sure.
