picking MK doesn't make much sense considering his current form, but i've seen what he can do in TvP in KeSPA Cup. it's true that MK's greed can be easily punished by players like sOs and PartinG, but i don't think Patience is going to be able to handle him like they would.
but if Patience takes the first map and MarineKing fails to adjust his play - and he always does - then i think it will be all downhill from there.
still pulling for MK though. i think he has it in him, and he has a lot to prove tonight.

It seemed pretty smart to siege tank contain on this map. Narrow ramp out makes sure you take lots of splash damage and a lot of buildings can be picked off too

The biggest error - he lost 5(?) vikings when doing the contain... WTF? Having those vikings and that small death squad, which was baited into the Colossi lazorz with blinking onto them, thus creating force fields from stalkers... 2 big mistakes.

The contain couldn't do anything because everything was out of range and walking up the ramp would have just failed. So he should have just saved more of his units and not lost 4 vikings in the middle of the map. If he had all those units still he would have crushed the last fight.

lazy micro from MK , no reason to lose that fight . kind of amazed he never scouted for a hidden nexus, he had to have known something was up at some point. you don't rebuild that fast on 2 base.

A top tier Zerg that had literally 0 results from Oct 2013-Oct 2014. It's not about the peak, it's that he brang them back from the dead.
Considering Departure went from trash tier to semi-regularly beating mid-tier players, yea I call it an improvement. Salvation is about the same. The other guy I was talking about was horror, who went from complete shit to almost getting into SSL.
And then of course there are other MVP team house players like Gumiho, HerO and Seed who all improved under MVP training regime.

Basically bio and their microbility allow Terran to get a lot of efficient trades and grind down Zerg. Thats the base and then you get medivacs to make that more efficient and widow mines to push Zerg over the edge off the cliff. If you can't do that then you can play strategically like Polt to win the late game.

should have trusted his colossus when they said we can charge in. But was a nice switch by MC in the mid game, to bad he lost the nexus and became indecisive.

He might have been able to win if he'd committed to a counter attack because his colossus count was so high, but losing his 3rd was pretty much game ending, yeah.

good thing MC is no king but a president can be reelected every tournament. MC should play a little greedier, Trust would have no chance, unless he waits for that moment.

I do too, but the best of the best is an ever evolving, ever changing group of people. In the last Code S, MC was on the verge of beating herO and eliminating PartinG. And at that point I'd definitely say he belonged in Code S.
