I meant that pro players have the skill to use all zerg weapons at their disposal but often refuse to and are often stuck on some kind of tunnel vision. Is it huge investment to throw 100/150 into infestation pit and then 200/150 in a few minutes. I so often see zergs die and they dont even attempt to get to tier 3 units.

Hoping Golden takes it all

Either Golden wins for the perfect goodbye. Or MMA wins. Then Polt/Bomber wins am and it was a perfect season for me

mkay, so I might be complaining too much, but why do they get to prepare two weeks before quarter final, but only one day before the semi-final and nothing before the final?
I am comparing this to the GSl tbh.

I am comparing this to the GSl tbh. I guess because of minimizing costs for players outside of the region. Maybe next year they'll change it (with the region lock). Not certain though cause these tournament weekends are cheaper for ESL to organize than a whole lot of separate play days I suspect. Edit: And what Erik says of course; The European and American continents are big places..

Probably for production/ logistical reasons. Unlike in Korea where everyone basically lives in one city people in NA/EU have to travel and get a hotel over the weekend.

Well people say it's because the foreigners don't practice as hard, but Happy's played more ladder games than anyone else and he still only made Ro8

Vortix, Welmu, Nerchio, Lucifron, Thorzain, Mana, SortOf etc. Once Lucifron, Thorzain, Mana, SortOf went fulltime, less succes. Especially Lucifron.

Yeah I think it's an environment thing, being in Korea provides you with the best infrastructure to perform, generally speaking. Naniwa did best when he went to Korea, same with Huk, Idra etc. Only Stephano is the exception and despite what people said he practiced ALL the time.

Went 0-4 in predictions yesterday But I'm feeling more confident about the semis. It's quite hard to know what form players are in after having a week to practice vs a specific opponent. Predictions for today:
Yoda 3-2 Golden (Think Golden will put up a good fight, possibly could win the series if he pulls out a cheese at the right time)
MMA 3-1 San (map pool should favor TvP imo, and San barely won vs Bunny. I'd say MMA's TvP is still a tier above Bunny.. just look at their recent match history vs MaNa, a good "benchmark" protoss player. San was also relying a lot of DTs and warp prism drops to get ahead, I think MMA will handle these situations a bit smoother than Bunny did as well.)
Finals should then favor MMA to be honest, and it seems like he's been practicing a lot of TvT judging by his matches vs ForGG. So finals will either be 4-1 vs Yoda or 4-3 vs Golden.

Everyone except Naniwa and Grubby had been worse after Korea-trip. Huk, Jinro etc who were very long in Korea is a different story. Stephano complained pretty hard about his second Korea-Trip (first korea trip was a succes, he said so and I think this too) (he wished he can back to masters since GM was full garbage, only cheese and stupid play and funnily enought, Stephano cooperated since he noticed that).

Cheering for MMA but I think beating San will not be easy. If San didn't look so shaky in the series against Bunny I would probably be a lot more worried though.
I suppose MMA is finally starting to win my heart back, He used to be my absolute favorite player but I have been doubting him hard ever since SlayerS fell apart. Hoping he does well in Blizzcon as well!

Well they always said that it was the best training environment, except Stephano.
