I don't think winter is very good at the game nor is he super knowledgeable, however I assume they want to use his persona to raise the viewer count which makes a lot of sense.

Homestory Cup isn't only about the best possible play, it's about entertainment. I am not sure if a huge amount of KESPA players could deliver or would be up for casting. Even though I think Jaedong, Flash (maybe), Parting, Innovation (maybe), Scarlett, Taeja and 1-2 more KESPA Koreans will be there, the rest would be to much.

Production always had a good feel to put the casters out that the community wants (for the main stream). So if Winter blows he will probably be put into another role. Conversely, Incontrol has always got a bigger role whenever he participated. And to some extent I find that a little sad, not because I don't like hearing Incontrol cast, but HSC was always a place to hear players cast that are very rough around the edges, even if it might not appeal to everyone. Well, at least there is always the side stream.

But I don't want to end the post with a sad note, so I go with YAY HOMESTORY CUP! HOMESTORY CUP!
