Finally it is the time of the year all of you know: eSports is coming home!
Well, “home” is not quite right this time. To celebrate the 10th edition we leave our beloved TaKeTV Studio just for the event and move into a location that really sets a focus on celebrating.
“Königsburg Krefeld” is the place to be if you want to join an epic party in Krefeld and our venue for the 10th edition of the HomeStory Cup powered by XMG.
November 13th - 16th is the date to look out for, further information about this event can be found below.

Format
As you might know we always play 2 group stages at the first 3 days, followed by a single elimination bracket on the final day. Only the best 2 players from a total of 4 in each group will move on to the next round until only 8 players are left to play the elimination bracket.
The group stage is played in a best-of-3 series but on the final day we will extend the series to a best-of-5 and the final will be played in a thrilling best-of-7 series! All games will be shown on stream. For this we will provide two English streams with professional casters like Kevin 'RotterdaM' van der Kooi, Geoff 'iNcontroL' Robinson, Evan 'Winter' Ballnik and of course all the progamers who will be available on site. The games will start at 2 pm every day.
The first group stage will be divided into two days, showing four groups per day. On the third day we will have a 2nd group stage where the remaining 16 players fight for a slot in the playoffs. On the final day we will only have the 8 playoff matches: 4, quarterfinals, 2 semifinals, the third place match and ultimately the Grand Final at the end of the tournament.

Casting at HomeStory Cup powered by XMG has always been one of its kind, a perfect mixture of madness and other funny mixtures. The two HSC veterans 'iNcontroL' and 'RotterdaM', the last one finally live and in person, will host the exciting matches for you, together with Winter.

Not only is the Königsburg an integral part of Krefeld, also it boasts innovative design and an older core. The resulting unique charm is therefore perfectly suited for HomeStory Cup X powered by XMG. Four different areas, two bars as well as a waterfall and a swimming pool (!) offer plenty of room for the combination of a unique Starcraft 2 tournament and our very first EnterTheGame festival.
The fact that you can have a unique party and gaming experience there should go without mention.
Your physical well-being during those four days of party and gaming will of course also be taken care of! An in-house pizzeria, a barbecue on the roof terrace and several waffle booths will provide you with fresh food at all times!

EnterTheGame
Playing a round of Mario Kart or Fifa with some friends, test a brand new gaming title, drink a beer with your favorite streamer and conclude everything by enjoying StarCraft rapper 'Temp0' live and on stage. The EnterTheGame festival offers you all of the above mentioned and even more!

The HomeStory Cup powered by XMG is enjoyed best live an on the spotm accordingly we have tied three ticket packages for yout to guarantee you a perfect stay.
Day tickets bought at the box office at 'Königsburg' will cost 10€ (minimum consumption). If you order it as a 'Starter Ticket' in advance you will receive 1 waffle for free at the location!
PREMIUM
Some more advantages offers the Premium Ticket . Not only will you receive a 10€ beverage voucher, 11€ meal voucher per day, a TaKeTV poster signed by the casters and a numbered shirt, 5 raffle tickets but also you will get free drinks at the aftershow-party on Saturday.
This package will cost 65/85/105/125 € depending on the number of days.
Only the first 120 ticket holders will also get access to the VIP party, so you better hurry up!
ULTRA
Hanging out with the players, a perfect seat in front of the stage and many other cool advantages?
You can receive all of this and more in our Ultra Ticket, which, as the name suggests, is aimed towards the most loyal fans of TaKeTV. Furthermore it offers you a 10€ drink voucher, 50€ food voucher, a personalized shirt and zipper with the TaKeTV house & your number, free drinks at the aftershow-party on Saturday and a poster with caster's and player's signatures and ten raffle tickets for free.
The opportunity to get the most out of a unique experience costs 245€ and will only be given 25 times!

Accomodation
As a thank you to our fans we offer free night's lodging for 200 people in a huge hall, just like in old LAN Party times. You should only bring a sleeping bag or air mattress with you.
Since we can only accept the first two hundred applications, you should hurry up! Please sign up for your place to sleep here.
In addition to this we'd like to make your journey to HomeStory Cup X powered by XMG easier by organizing several buses that will pick you up on Friday from different directions, set you down in Krefeld and bring you back on Sunday, for example via Kiel - Hanover - Hamburg; Dresden - Leipzig - Berlin and Munich - Stuttgart - Frankfurt.
