Best of luck Tyler, you never seem to be able to catch a break with admins and qualifiers.
|
I see Polt is in this, show polt!
|
Avilo... What? Why? You denied his natural with the engi bay to prevent his base and take an eco lead... instead you SCV pulled. It's not even a case of the MSC he didnt overcharge. You can't SCV rush if huk just builds sentries. Then he blames the balance. This is why he will never succeed in this game. He does something dumb and blames the game. Sigh.
|
did anybody catch the whole in game chat?
wtf
|
Maybe pick another race then so he could stop blaming the game? He must know it's being streemed, playing shit and then blaming balance and insta-leaving game 2 is going to do what? Trying to make a stand for the Terran race? Such a sad stream, tried to get streamchat hype by picking an Avilo game and now they got bitten in the ass. GG
"We could have been streaming this series, we probably should have", you go Kev.
|
Avilo is so pathetic.. he thinks like a bronze player "Oh you build a nexus in my base there is no way you have anything at home so I can kill you with scvs" Huk only lost 100 minerals, Avilo probably lost more in mining time... Just really really sad.
|
Wow... left for a minute and the game is over. Embarrassing. This guy shouldn't play in anymore qualifiers. He has issues.
|
If a Korean player did something like this it might actually mean something, Avilo is just a scrub though, he can't win because he's shit, not due to his race.
|
Sickest admins. Let's just do everything in the in-game chat, why not?
|
wheres that traitor mrbitter?
|
The dumb thing is I'm pretty sure SC2 right now is the most balanced RTS game I've ever played. Not that it doesn't have issues, its just balance isn't one of them.
|

Even if that wasn't the case you can't really complain unless you play a perfect game and a scvpull vs a one-base protoss is about as far away from that as you can get.

Are there going to be VOD's of these qualifiers?

She's playing at 7AM in Korea after being up all night playing 15+ games. I think we can cut her some slack. Huk looked good, he's been on the upswing lately.

finally polt games, also is this the first time huk has beat scarlett in a box series? I feel like it never happens.

American living in Korea > Korean living in America

Polt almost had it. Wrong decision to engage the nexus rather than the collosus army. A sandwhich increases surface area which reduces the power of storms.
/edit
Also, mismicro'd his units at the planetary. Shoulda pre-split or flanked with it, with planetary being repaired by scvs. 1 storm hit his scvs + bio.

2014 Prime confirmed better than 2011 Prime.

There is a 3/4 place match according to basetrade. No money difference. No qualifier...

And his stalkers just went full mkp. Kidding, just salty about game 1.

Polt has gotten weak since going full time. He no longer has to go to school, do a part time job and play 10-12 hours a day averaging 3 hours of sleep a day for months.

State is playing really well, really fluid. Has a reaction to everything from Polt.

That is incorrect, The 3rd and 4th place both get 50 $ but there is no difference, mr bitter said they can play if they just really feel like playing some starcraft but there is no difference, all about top 2

Polt did not lose those games, State won them. He figured out how to create the opportunities he needed and simply out-thought one of the best TvP players in the world.

This is exactly what we said when he first moved over to NA and lost everything for those first 2 months.
|
Maybe Polt streamed too much these days He was already very predictable in his openings, and State found some weakness in his TvP. Polt defended like a boss the first attack of State, but he counter attacked right after because maybe he thought State had a third. If he had sit back home, he would have defended it.
|
What are u guys talking about? Polt skill isn't declining, State just made him look like Diamond league

Impressive play by state! :o Last time i saw him was on his pl debut. He hasn't looked bad back then, but he definetly improved his desicion makeing by a lot! Well desvered win.

Perhaps the curse of playing in a "weaker" region as a Korean. The more you play on a region the more you expose your play and style to the NA or EU players who start finding vulnerabilities, this is one of the reasons why some Euro players have been performing better against top Koreans because they play them far more than before.
|
When a Korean decisively beats a foreigner, the Korean is an absolute genius. When a foreigner decisively beats a Korean, the Korean is in a slump, or in decline, or having computer problems, or cursed, or getting bad practice where he's only playing foreigners. Because it could NEVER happen that State was just flat-out better in that series.

Yeah I think so to. He is like "the man to kill" in NA. American players get to know his playstyle very well and adapt. I guess this is not a good phase for him right now, he probably needs to change some things. I kinda worry for him in WCS ro32.

Its like Creators best matchup. If MKPs average TvP got him far enough to beat Polt, Creator's PvP should be pretty good.

Full Foreigner is actually a misnomer too. A lot of people thought the foreigner was super far ahead because of how the casters were casting, when I always thought they had a decent lead, but not game changing.

Thanks for letting us know, we'll update it! It was planned for the 3rd but its a WCS day so that doesn't work because we wouldn't run a tournament at the same day as wcs and above all, nate and me can only be in 1 place :D
|
Such crazy games, congrats to Puck and Violet, see you guys again June 5th!
|
|
Could you guys please turn on archiving for your Twitch account? (redbullesports)
So we can get faster access to the VODs.
Thank you

Thank you for turning on archiving! : )

Nice job by Scarlett after getting owned hard game 1 by early gateway aggression in adapting and owning the same strategy hard in the next two games, a good example of adjusting in a best of X series.
|
That was a pretty bad engagement by Suppy.
|
Polt got the best engagement.

TvT...how I've missed you.

Polt always manages to sneak in some Bio to rip apart your main.

Damn too much to watch. At least I caught the tail-end of Polt's winning move.

Oh my god, what a TvT. What a TvT. What a game of STARCRAFT!
Polt vs. Major Game 1. Game 2 commencing soon. Long game but action packed, back and forth.

Major looked pretty impressive against hendralisk

Major got through, nice. Now Scarlett needs to get through and I couldn't ask for a better 6
|
He put a major beatdown on Henry.

And off to RBG we go! Apparently she was feeling terrible, didn't seem to slow her down much.

Can`t watch it right now, but even though I know he didn`t win it, I`m really happy to read that. Hope that someday he`ll be able to focus enough back on the game to realise his potential. On the most underrated SCII played in my opinion.
